I always liked Speedy Gonzalez, letty. I like Coplas by the Kingston Trio, as it is all in fun. But it was censored off of my collection of their recordings.

hbg, Love La Banda and The Barber of Seville just as edgar noted.

edgar, The Kingston Trio was great. Thanks for the memory.

Going to say goodnight a bit early, as GJ is on his way here.

First, one to match hbg's drinking song.

Now, thinking of Rockhead/Jon.

Good morning all. edgar, I love that one by Jerry Lee. eseEdgar and I did it on Abuzz.

hbg, loved Wild Rover by The Clancy Brothers and Tommy. Especially enjoyed Liszt's Preludes because the instrumentation was fabulous. You hurry back Ontario.

That morning song by The Chordettes was a good one to wake up by.

I don't know if anyone here remembers hebba the wood carving man, but I heard from him. He lives in Denmark and is still doing his beautiful wooden sculptures.

Two songs for the today on WA2K radio.

First, a birthday gal. Let's view some info on her.

Patty Loveless (born Patty Lee Ramey, January 4, 1957), is an American country music singer.

Since her emergence on the country music scene in late 1986 with her first (self-titled) album, Loveless has been one of the most popular female singers of the Neotraditional country movement, although she has also recorded albums in the Country pop and Bluegrass genres.

Now, a song.

Anyone remember Ladyhawke the movie? It was truly great. First, the theme, then the trailer.

Now, a memory jog.

Patty Loveless is a talented artist, one I have not really spent much time listening to. Good tribute.
Also, I have not seen Lady Hawke. Seems like it is good.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for restoring our signal, edgar, and once again thanks for your comments.

Don't know Lonely Day by the Bee Gees, but as you know, I love anything they do.

Here's one to match, Texas.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comments, edgar.

Had no idea that Harry did One For My Baby and One More For the Road.

Johnny Mercer wrote the lyrics to that one, Texas.

Another by dear Johnny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owM_aDCDv9U

and, the lyrics.

"P.S. I Love You"

Dear, I thought I'd drop a line.
The weather's cool. The folks are fine.
I'm in bed each night at nine.
P.S. I love you.

Yesterday we had some rain,
but all in all I can't complain.
Was it dusty on the train?
P.S. I love you.

Write to the Browns just as soon as you're able.
They came around to call.
I burned a hole in the dining room table.
And let me see, I guess that's all.

Nothin' else for me to say,
and so I'll close. Oh, by the way,
everybody's thinkin' of you.
P.S. I love you.

edgar, As I told Mizz Izz, When I was still in radio, I did that Accent song. Love it.

McTag, Welcome back.Cyd and Fred are hard to beat, especially when They're Dancing in the Dark.

Here's another dance song. I remember this one best by Dean, however.
