@edgarblythe,
edgar, Fantastic. Of all the myths that are still with us, The Greeks are my favorite. Rather reminds me of the painting Icarus and Jazz. What a great story by Jim.

Here's another trailer of Billy Budd.

@Letty,
I was pretty young when I read Billy Budd. About twenty, I think.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know The Coasters Searchin', edgar, but once again thanks for the introduction.

I taught Moby Dick and Billy Budd.

Played this one before, but it's worth another, methinks.

Another search.

I tried to play your song, letty, but it kept opening a blank page. I will try again in a few minutes.

@edgarblythe,
Glad it worked, edgar. Don't know Bobby Day, but Over and Over was a good one.

I know that Glen said his goodbye not too long ago, but as far as I'm concerned, he's still on my line.

You may not know Bobby Day by name, but I am sure you know some of his music. He recorded the original Rockin Robin and another you may recall titled Little Bitty Pretty One.
I like Glenn as much as you do.

@edgarblythe,
You're right, edgar, Bobby Bare did Rockin' Robin. Thanks for the memory jog.

I used to tease our Phoenix about that one by Glen. Love it still.

Here's a birthday boy, and since I don't know him, how about some info first.

Sir Cliff Richard, OBE (born Harry Rodger Webb; 14 October 1940) is a British pop singer, musician, performer, actor, and philanthropist. He is the third biggest selling singles artist of all time in the United Kingdom, with total sales of over 21 million in the UK and has reportedly sold an estimated 250 million records worldwide.

Let's listen then.

Hurry back, edgar, and thanks to you, hbg, and Barry for keeping us on the air.

As most of you know, my way of thanking our contributors to WA2k radio is to thumb them up. Enjoyed all the music.

Went out to eat with the kids from Orlando too late last evening, and I had the wrong kind of food. Deep friend clam strips; hush puppies, and light beer. It was delicious, but not good for my glucose.

The music was live and was a one man band. The kid played acoustic guitar and reggae. He was excellent. The young lady who took our order told me that it was good to see me back again. That was a nice compliment.

Two songs for the late morning here.

First, Bobby again as I love this song by him.

Now, a birthday man.
