@edgarblythe,
edgar, I know that one, but had no idea that Tommy had done a jazzed up version. Thanks for the memory jog.

We missed this guy's birthday, so we'll dedicate it to all our Aussie friends.

@edgarblythe,
You know, edgar, in spite of "old blue eyes" many dispositions, he was a fantastic singer. Vera Lynn did the original version of I'll Be Seeing You. It's a beautiful one, Texas.

Here's a surprise, yawl. The King doing Frankie and Johnny.

@edgarblythe,
Didn't know that was a movie, edgar. Well, once again you sent me searching.

Trout Fishing in America is a musical duo which performs folk rock and children's music. The duo is composed of Keith Grimwood (upright bass, Clevinger bass, bass guitar, vocals) and Ezra Idlet (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, vocals). They took their name from the novel Trout Fishing in America by Richard Brautigan.

That Dinosaur song was funny and clever.

Hey, it's "the boss's" birthday, so here is a montage of songs by Bruce.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, edgar.My word, I had no idea that Leonard was singing about a lost French Canadian. Quebec, perhaps? He was great as usual.

Well, from French to Spanish because today is this great vocalist birthday.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar. Had no idea that Merle did that one. Great instrumental.

Here's one to match, Texas, and of all "the fab four" I think George had the best voice.

I never heard of Joe Brown, but his tribute to George was nice. - I never picked one Beatle above the rest, because I love so many things they all did.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar, and I didn't know She's Leaving Home by the fab four. Great one.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, A dream from Michael.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU_cs25Ffg8

Now, one that I really like by the Beatles.

Heard from Northern Ireland and great to know he and his wife are fine.

Hope euroGeorge is. Love having Ontario via Germany with us and a brief song from our cockney Brit.

From Letty with love and hope

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar. Loved Miss You. Mick Jagger looked odd in that song, however.

Michael's voice is still great to me.

Beginning the day with a birthday man.

Thanks, Texas, for restoring our signal, and for your comments.

Ferlin Husky is great, but you sent me searching.

Ferlin Eugene Husky was an early American country music singer who was equally adept at the genres of traditional honky honk, ballads, spoken recitations, and rockabilly pop tunes.

Hard to believe that Johnny did that one about Roberta Flack, and that Roberta did it for Don McLean.

How about a bit of etymology on hill billy.

Many words commonly used in America today such as Hillbillies and Rednecks have their origins in our Scottish roots. While the following three terms are associated today with the American South and southern culture, their origins are distinctly Scottish and Ulster-Scottish (Scots-Irish), and date to the mass immigration of Scottish Lowland and Ulster Presbyterians to America during the 1700’s.

Talk about synchronicity.

Here is another billy(no, not goat) group. Razz
