Hmmm, There seems to be a disagreement about the folks concerning Edison Lighthouse, edgar, but I really enjoyed My Baby Loves Love regardless.

Hard to tell if it was Edison Lighthouse or White Plains.Tony Burrows was the lead singer for both bands.

Good to have our Brit back with us.

Jerry Lee's song reminds me of the pun. It was the beer that made Mel Famy Walk Us. Razz Enjoyed all your contributions, buddy.

Ah, The Bee Gee's I Started a Joke was sad but I do like it.

edgar, I love Rocky Top by Roy.

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First Willie doing a song that brings back another memory.

Now, The Celtic Lady.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for restoring our signal, edgar. I thought perhaps that this had interfered with it.

This morning , those in Japan saw their first annular solar eclipse since 1839. Early risers in 28 of the nation’s prefectures saw the rare occurrence of the moon passing in between the sun and the earth, blocking all but a ring of the sun’s light, for a five-minute window around the 7:32 AM mark on the clocks. Various schools in the Tokyo region set up special starting times for the day or had educational programs to teach the children about the event. Stores selling special glasses that allowed viewers to safely look at the eclipse found themselves sold out by the weekend.

Loved Buffy's Up Where We Belong. Don't know Marv Johnson's You Got What it Takes, but it was a good one, Texas.

Two songs for the late afternoon here. First a birthday man.

Mighty hot out there. I am trying to finish up the front of the house before summer hits with full force.
One thing I like about Fats waller, he always seemed to have a good time in his performances.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment about Fats, edgar. He also played organ quite well.

Didn't know that one by The Band. It was a goodie, and thanks again for the introduction.

Who Will Answer by Ed Ames was fantastic. More synchronicity, because I was thinking Mary in the Morning and had no idea that Ed had done it.

Loved Beep Beep. I used to have a Nash Rambler convertible.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First, a birthday man.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZuXgyjEQeI

Now, one that I love, replete with lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M-Yb4D9eNY&feature=related

Yours ‘til the stars lose their glory
Yours ‘til the birds fail to sing
Yours to the end of life’s story
This pledge to you dear, I bring

Yours in the grey of December
Here or on far distant shores
I’ve never loved anyone the way I love you
How could I, when I was born to be
Just yours.

From Letty with a bit of conern for Dublin, London, and Ontario, but still with love
