@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment on Dave, edgar. Love that Wintersong by Sarah.

Today is this guy's birthday. Do you recall the movie about Mozart?

Thomas Edward "Tom" Hulce (play /ˈhʊls/; born December 6, 1953) is an American actor and theater producer. As an actor, he is perhaps best known for his Oscar-nominated portrayal of Mozart in the movie Amadeus and his role as "Pinto" in National Lampoon's Animal House. Additional acting awards included a total of four Golden Globe nominations, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award nomination. Hulce retired from acting in the mid-1990s in order to focus upon stage directing and producing. In 2007, he won a Tony Award as a lead producer of the Broadway musical Spring Awakening.

Here is one scene from the movie.

@hamburgboy,
hbg, first allow me to comment on SisterSledge. That funny song was from The movie, The Bird Cage. We Are Family is a great one.

Here's another version of your song by Connie Francis.

@JPB,
Welcome back, flower lady. You sent me searching again.

Al "Carnival Time" Johnson (born June 20, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana,is an American singer and piano player best known for the Mardi Gras song "Carnival Time".

Don't know him, but thanks for the introduction. I finally found out why I know Edmundo Ros, incidentally.

You're right about switching gears, but it's still January somewhere.

Here's another winter song.

Gordon sings that winter song better than his normal style, I think. Got Jerry Butler

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments, edgar. Wow! Don't know Jerry Butler but he is great. I Honestly Love You is a song that should be for everyone, Texas.

I noticed that one line said "...romance on your menu..." and it made me think of this one Dinah.

When Dinah released Unforgettable and What a Difference a Day Makes, in close succession, I fell in love with her. I still have some of her 45s.

Ah, Dinah is there anyone finer. Thanks for your comment, edgar.

Adam by Buffy I don't know, but her voice isn't so good on that one, Texas.

How about an Indian Nation by Hank.

Good morning from here in Florida.

Rock, loved Super Tramp's Help Me Down the Road. Don't know that one, but it was great.

Brit, Thanks again for all your songs: Dire Straits, Willie Nelson, Steve Winwood, and The Sermon by Jimmy Smith. All great songs, London.

Today is Harry Chapin's birthday, so here is a tribute to a great man who left us too soon.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks, Irish, for your comment and that song by Script. Don't know it, but it was sad.

Odd, guess what I was just thinking about, euroGeorge. An Irish friend in Virginia told us this was truly the reflection of Ireland.
