Good morning folks. Hard to believe Arthur has been gone since 1979. Your Christmas music sounds nice this morning, letty. And Jim Reeves is one of my favorite artists.
Here is a recording I have to play at least once. It is my favorite Christmas song and my favorite version of it.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, yes it is difficult to believe the leader of The Boston Pops is gone. Thanks for your comments.

Really love Harry's version of I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day.

Unfortunately, this lady is going. She's terminally ill.

edgar and Brit, thanks for your comments and those two songs. Hall and Oats' Sara is a great song, as is Disney's Jiminy Cricket's Kris Kringle.

Thinking of Ertha Kitt so here is an updated version of Santa Baby.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, you sent me searching again.

The Oak Ridge Boys are an American country and gospel vocal quartet.

The group was founded in the 1940s as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in southern gospel during the 1950s. Their name was officially changed to the Oak Ridge Boys in the early 1960s, and they remained a gospel-oriented group until the mid-1970s, when they changed their image and concentrated on country music.

It's Christmas time once again was great, especially that guy singing bass.

Thanks for your observation of The Other/Fourth Wise man.

Today is this Indian's birthday. I know the name, but not the man. Here is a tribute to him.

edgar, I saw about the death of that fabulous singer. I know Besame Mucho, but not the others.

Diane, Welcome back. Love Miles Davis. Thanks for the reminder of a great jazz man.

Well, edgar, sent me searching, and I found out that that lady sings in this language.

Crioulo, which is a blend of Portuguese and West African words. She's from Cape Verde, which was a Portuguese colony until last century.

How about a travelogue from Cape Verde.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comment, edgar. Ah Porgy and Bess. A wonderful one by Gershwin, Texas.

Loved Lena and Harry singing I Wants to Stay Right Here.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with some Memories.
