@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments, edgar. Love Photograph by Ringo Starr.
Your Ringo reminded me of this movie and Johnny Ringo.

I didn't see that one when it was new, but I finally got to watch it. I read a few times that Earp is so well remembered, because he outlived the other characters and had more time to tell the story his way.

Break My Mind
@edgarblythe,
Love Break My Mind by Jerry Lee, edgar. You sent me searching again. Just found out that this was the theme from the TV show which I never saw, but I remember the music as usual.

Oops, Wyatt Earp chased off our edgar. Too bad, we were just getting started.
Time for me to say good night, and I'll dedicate this one to a lady who has called me a least four times and every time I say hello she says, "goodbye" in an Hispanic sounding voice.

From Letty with love and great expectations.
I watched the Wyatt Earp show, but in summer reruns. He was on at the same time as Have Gun Will Travel, one of my favorite TV shows of all time.
Hello is Good bye is new to me. Good song.
Speaking of Have Gun Will Travel, here is Ken Curtis singing on that show.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Ken Curtis was fabulous. I just remember the theme from Have Gun Will Travel.
Two songs for the morning.
First, a funny memory by Rich Little. He did every character himself.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZkCEZiYVlA&feature=related
Now Joan sings about The Rose of Sharon.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EEu5b5q-wI&feature=related
I think that most of us know "the rose" was Jesus.
Rich Little was at one time the best mimic out there. Still great to watch.
Joan's song reminded me I have been intending to play this one by her. She is so versatile - It's almost like two different artists did these two songs.

edgar, thanks again for your comments. Love that De Colores by Joan. Hmm, the colors?
JCBoy welcome back to you as well. Don't know Rihanna but that was a great song by the lady.
Today is Tina Turner's birthday, and she couldn't be in better company.

Colorful
Colorful the fields in the spring are dressed
Colorful
Colorful the little birds that come from outside are
Colorful
Colorful the rainbow that we see shining is
And because of that the great loves with many colors it's what I like
Sing the rooster
Sing the rooster with the cocka, doodle, do
The hen
The hen with the cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck,
The little chicken
The little chicken with the peep, peep, peep, peep, peep
And because of that the great loves with many colors it's what I like
@edgarblythe,
Wow! thanks for the English lyrics to Joan's De Colores, Texas.
Ah, Babs doing a Kiss in the Rain was great, Texas. Didn't know that one, so thanks for the introduction.
Creedence has a different one about rain.

Rick Nelson
Who'll Stop the Rain is a great song, letty.
@edgarblythe,
edgar, I was thinking about my dad and he had a bunch of buffalo nickels. (Great one by Ricky).
Bud also had a collection of Indian head pennies, but the woman that worked for me so long ago stole them. I understand that they're worth a fortune now.
Here Comes the Night by Jimmy Norton was one that I don't know buy I love that type soul song, Texas.
Inspired by the penny, here is one of my favorites by The Fab Four.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_H6PdlJshCo
One of Jimmy Norman's claims to fame, is his contention that he substantially rewrote the song, Time is on My Side. This was before the Rolling Stones recorded it. He received credit on the first pressing - I don't recall the recording artist. Then, his name was dropped and the song's owner barely acknowledged that Norman made a contribution. Meaning, Norman never got any royalties. He has since died.
@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the explanation concerning Jimmy Norman, Texas, and don't forget to check out The Fab Four and their pennies.

I'm speaking to our editor about mistakes in my transcripts. That should have been "but".
Great one by George doing Hank, Texas.
Trying to coax Filipe Albuquerque to visit our studio again, so see if you remember this song by James Last.

Hmmm. I recall some of the lyrics. I found my April dream in Portugal with you, when we discovered romance like I never knew, etc.
I only know April in Portugal as an instrumental. I listened to Penny Lane, just forgot to mention it.
