@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comments on Kevin, edgar. The only one that I didn't feel good about was Pay it Forward.

Don't know The Last Time by The Rolling Stones, but it was a good one.

I'm certain that most of our listeners and contributors remember Kenny G, and I have done this one before, but just as a reminder to all of us.

Kenneth Bruce Gorelick (born June 5, 1956), better known by his stage name Kenny G, is an American, adult contemporary and smooth jazz saxophonist. His fourth album, Duotones, brought him breakthrough success in 1986. Kenny G is the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era, with global sales totaling more than 75 million albums.

Going to say goodnight with his instrumental, and there's a chord or two in this one that reminds me of O Danny Boy.

Hope euroGeorge has his new pc and visits again soon.

So good to have hbg and Barry the Brit with us today.

from Letty with love to the world

LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles County sheriff's official says homicide detectives have re-opened their investigation into the 1981 drowning death of actress Natalie Wood. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says the agency is taking another look at the case after recently receiving additional information.

A news conference has been scheduled for Friday with the detective leading the investigation.

Whitmore declined to release any additional details about what information detectives had been given.

Wood drowned on Nov. 29, 1981, after a night of partying with husband Robert Wagner and "Brainstorm" co-star Christopher Walken on the couple's yacht anchored off Santa Catalina Island.

Coroner's officials ruled the death of the "West Side Story" star an accident

@edgarblythe,
I like Please Release Me, by Englebert, edgar.

Yep, Natalie's last movie was at Kill Devil Hills in the Outer Banks of N.C. Glad they have reopened the case.

Up early this morning because the weather channel was reporting tornadoes and I wanted to stay tuned.

Today is Johnny Mercer's birthday. Love that man and his creative mind.

Here's a tribute.

@Barry The Mod,
Love The Water is Wide by Dusty, Brit. Ah, she was taken from us too soon.

And, another who was.

Sam Cooke who sings about the wind. (it's really fierce here)

@Barry The Mod,
Don't know Snow Patrol, Brit, but Chasing Cars was a good one. Odd, I see where they were originally from Northern Ireland, and I just heard from my Irish friend in Northern Ireland. More synchronicity.

Today is this lady's birthday, so let's hear a tribute to her.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Thanks again for your comments. Ah, Elvis and his G.I. Blues. Love that one by "the king".

Met a man in the service station the other day who had a shirt that read U.S. Marines. I told him that he was too young to be in the Marines. I got a huge smile from him, so here is one that I'm certain all of us know.

I love that song, edgar. Don't know Tim Hardin but so many folks have done his songs, and the original is always the one to look for. Thanks, buddy.

Another original.

I only know this by Roy Rogers, but perhaps you may remember Rex, Texas.
