@edgarblythe,
Don't know that one by Little Richard, edgar. As usual, Send Me Some Lovin' touched a memory.

Here he is LIVE!

That is Ali. He doesn't look good anymore, but he gets around. I see his face at all sorts of events.

@edgarblythe,
Great one by Peggy Lee, edgar. Just found out that Johnny Guitar was from a movie. Never saw it, but Peggy did a beautiful job as usual.

Tried to find this one by her, but no luck. What I like about her version, is that she changed keys at the last part, "...while we're young..."

Here's an instrumental version which later slips into Just the Way You Look Tonight plus In The Still of the Night Three Coins in a Fountain and Someone to Watch Over Me. Know them all. Sorry about the religious message at the end, however.

The lyrics to While We're Young.

Songs were made to sing,
While we're young!
Every day is spring,
While we're young!

None can refuse,
Time flies so fast!
Too dear to lose,
An' too sweet to last!

Though it may be just . . .
For today!
Share our love we must . . .
While we may!

So blue the skies,
All sweet surprise,
Shines before our eyes,
While we're young

@edgarblythe,
Just found out that Percy Faith is Canadian, edgar.

The Albatross by Judy Collins was breathtaking. Have never heard that one. Do you suppose that she might be referring to The Rime of the Ancient Mariner?

Saying goodnight with two songs.

First, a bell song originally written as a poem by Edgar Allen Poe.

Although I was looking for the classical version of this one, I am amazed at how well Connie does it.

So nice to have Scotland and London with us today.

From Letty with love and a bell.

That first bells song is great, letty. Never heard that before.
I have heard Connie's record before. I used to listen to her every chance I got.
Now, something a bit lighter

edgar, New Beats Bread and Butter was funny. Thanks for the comment and the early morning (here it is) smile. Hurry back, Texas.

Hey, Brit. Happy Monday's Step On was perfect. Don't know that one, but it suits my day here.

McTag, The Three Bells is one that I do know. Did you know that Edith Piaff did that one as well? The Star Gazers I See the Moon and the Moon Sees Me, I do know. Thanks for the memory.

Here's a native American song for the morning here.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, edgar, and thanks for your comment. Yes that morning song was captivating.

I recall that theme by Billy May; didn't want to watch the movie even with my older sister who loves old blue eyes. I realized it was about drugs and that was far beyond my acceptance at the time.

Here's one I am dedicating to my good neighbor, Sharon, whose life has been in turmoil and yet takes time to do a good deed for me.

@edgarblythe,
Great one by Marty doing Gene to the turn of Red River Valley, edgar. The lesson we learn from those lyrics, is to make the most out of LIFE while we're living it. Thanks for your comment on Yo Yo and Allison's voice, Texas.

How about a little Thanksgiving fun now.
