@edgarblythe,
Don't know those Kentucky headhunters doing "...the jester's..." song, edgar. Thanks for the memory and the introduction.

Another birthday boy.

Love the theme from that movie. RIP Michael

@edgarblythe,
You sent me searching again, edgar.

Leo Sayer (born Gerard Hugh Sayer, 21 May 1948 is a British singer-songwriter, musician, and entertainer whose singing career has spanned four decades. Sayer became a naturalised Australian citizen in 2009. Sayer was a top singles and album act on both sides of the Atlantic in the 1970s. His first seven hit singles in the UK all reached the Top 10 – a feat first registered by his one-time manager, Adam Faith. A consistently successful artist, from his first hit with "The Show Must Go On" in 1973 to the present day, Sayer has never been missing from the charts for longer than five successive years.

Loved More Than I Can Say, and the visuals were an art form.

Here's another type of love

That Ray Charles song is on one of his Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music albums. Some of the best music I have ever heard.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar. Don't know There He Goes by Patsy Cline, but as usual, she is good. Another talent gone too soon.

As for Willie and Ray, my sister and I used to sing those two songs together, and that matched perfectly.

Time for me to say good night, and I think that I shall do so with a a hymn for Sunday by The King.

Nice to have Canada with us again today. Hope our Brit's okay.

From Letty with love to all of you everywhere.

edgar, loved your goodnight song. I know that Chinese melody by Bill Bayes, but another don't know why I know it. You know that I love Marty. El Paso was great.

hbg, that doesn't sound much like the polkas that I know, but it was great.

Beginning my late morning with two songs. First Mozart's Turkish Rondo with a tribute to the country that has been devastated by that terrible earthquake.

Now one to match Marty's El Paso.

El Condor.

Good afternoon. I got some gravel in my eye while working. Consequently, I likely will not be on line much today. Had to go to a doctor to clean it out.

Thanks, hbg, for Roll Out The Barrel and edgar's Pennsylvania Polka was great.

Didn't know The Platters my Dream, nice one, Texas.

Odd, I know Treasure Island. I think the lyrics begin with "...I looked for gold on Treasure Island."

Going to say goodnight with two songs. First Meadowland.

Now, a tribute to a birthday man.

edgar, thanks so much for your comments.

Feeling a little down this evening, but it's good to know that Barry the Brit is alright.

Hurricane for Halloween? ah, well.

Nice to have Ontario with us today.

Still, from Letty with love to you all.
