Mickey and Jerry can do that, these days. In the early times, Jerry didn't want Mickey in the limelight.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, edgar. Been having a wee bit of trouble this evening. Rain and lightening, etc.

Love that version of Schumann by Van Cliburn. I remember the awards he won.

Saying good night with another Schumann.

edgar, loved your goodnight song by Nat. Had no idea that he had done There will Never Be Another you.

Thanks again for your comments wm and edgar.

Fats' song about the wind says it right about here in my wee studio.

wm, Platter's Only You was great. Just as our Texan, ed, said. Don't know Magic Lanterns but thanks for the introduction.

I think this is a good one to describe the day.

Today, the Renaissance Festival begins. The grounds were spared by about a half mile the forest fire of a few weeks back. I chose this King Arthur music to mark the return.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, legend or fact, I love that King Arthur music. Thanks for the memory of one of my favorite monarchs.

Remember this?

Breaking news.

LOS ANGELES — Roger Williams, the virtuoso pianist who topped Billboard charts with his hit recording of “Autumn Leaves” in the 1950s and played for nine presidents during a long career, has died. He was 87.

His former publicist Rob Wilcox says Williams died Saturday at his home in Los Angeles of complications from pancreatic cancer.

Here's a slideshow of famous places with Roger's theme.

Roger Williams - fond memories. I liked Autumn Leaves the best of his songs.
King Arthur - I would like a dollar for every film about him.

@edgarblythe,
You're right about Roger, edgar. He also did Somewhere in Time.

My favorite about King Arthur is by Alfred Lord Tennyson. (Idylls of the king)

He also did The Charge of the Light Brigade.

Don't know Too Much Heaven by the Bee Gees, but Barry Gibbs' falsetto is a bit strange to me.

Here's another, Texas.

I have fond memories of Night Fever and Saturday Night Fever. My wife took me to see the film during the first month we were seeing each other.
I just watched the following. I believe everybody else should be forced to see it too, just because I sat through it.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I went searching again.

"Tik Tok" (styled as "TiK ToK") is the debut single by American recording artist Kesha. The song was produced by Benny Blanco and Dr. Luke and co-written by Blanco, Dr. Luke and Kesha. It was released on August 7, 2009 as the lead single from Kesha's debut studio album, Animal. The opening line of the song came from an experience where Kesha woke up surrounded by beautiful women, to which she imagined Diddy being in a similar scenario. The experience triggered the writing of the song which she later brought to her producer, Dr. Luke, who was then contacted by Diddy in hopes of a collaboration; he came to the studio the same day and recorded his lines and the song was completed.

I was hoping you meant Tick Tock of Oz Razz

Can't say that I like that one, Texas, but I love Don't by Elvis. Never heard that one by The King. Oops, Missed our Brit's soul music. Tomorrow, London.

Saying goodnight with Andrea. It's in Spanish but some songs don't need to be translated. It's the sound of the language that means something.

Good to have London with us.
