Bugs is bugs, I always say. I think Yo is a great artist. I first so concluded when he played for Ted Kennedy.
Good morning, folks.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I used to refer to myself as "gullible's Travels". It appears to be happy outside, Texas. Thanks for beginning our radio "daze" with a smile.

Another by Yo Yo followed by the song with lyrics.

@Letty,
Good Day Miss Letty, Ed and all.
Really loved both Yo Yo and Martin Aelred's versions of Ennio Moricones classic Gabriels Oboe, wonderful.
Glad to see Ed so chirpy today, glad he's having a hap Hap Happy day.

euroGeorge. Thanks for your comments, and I had no idea that Louis Prima did a cartoon version of Rudyard Kiplings' Jungle Book. As a kid, I read all of those stories. Even saw most of the Sabu movies. (another actor who died too young)

Hey, Miz Izz. Didn't know Way Down by "the king". It was great, gal.

Today is Vaughn Monro's birthday, so here is a tribute to the "ghost riders" man.

@Letty,
Nice tribute to the late great Vaughn Monro Miss Letty, I see he has two
stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Way Down by Elvis, was that only released after he died?. Great song Iz.

Here's a song I got sick off when it was first released, talk about overplayed,
it was everywhere. But listening to it lately I think I like it again. It's a fun song.Mr. Green

Whigfield --- Saturday Night.

euro, you sent me searching about that lady with the pigtails.

Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born 11 April 1970), best known as Whigfield and also as Naan, is a Danish singer best known for the song "Saturday Night", a hugely popular single during the summer of 1994.

Not bad, either. I never think of Denmark that I don't think of our hebba.

edgar, thanks again for your comments, and I had no idea that Vaughn did Old Soldiers Never Die. Remember Douglas with his corncob pipe? I need to check him out as well.

Another fabulous vocalist, yawl.

Danny Kaye.

euroGeorge, it was my older sister who introduced me to Danny. Now I realize why she loved him. Thanks for the Billy Joel song. Too bad about his alcohol habit.

Oops, edgar, missed your Brook Benton song; as you know I love the guy.

Ah, Laura Nyro and Stone Cold Picnic. Great one, Texas.

Today is this guy's birthday, yawl.

@edgarblythe,
Yep, edgar, Sam did and I still love the guy.

I had no idea about Mickey and his spinal injury, but it seems that he is back on stage and doing okay. Thanks for the info, Texas. I remember his line dancing quite well.

I also saw that movie with John Travolta.

Here's a surprise. Mickey and Jerry Lee.
