Good morning WA2K folks and edgar.

Thanks for being our spokesman, Texas. Really enjoyed Earl Grant's Til the End of Time, and Sixty Minute Man was one that I do know, cause we used to dance to that song when we were kids. For a while, it was banned by certain radio stations, but we didn't understand about that stuff then. Also appreciate your comments on what we play here.

Today is Buddy Holly's birthday, and I never knew him until Don McLean wrote American Pie. "...the day the music died..."

The fairing will protect the spacecraft from the impact of aerodynamic pressure and heating during ascent and will be jettisoned once they are outside the Earth's atmosphere. Launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket from Pad 17B is scheduled for Sept. 8. The spacecraft will fly in tandem orbits around the moon for several months to measure its gravity field. GRAIL's primary science objectives include determining the structure of the lunar interior, from crust to core, and understanding of the thermal evolution of the moon
