@jcboy,
Good Morning WA2K,
The last two songs were nice, Jerry vale is a fine singer and I
think Duffy is great, but where is she?, haven't heard anything
from her lately. Duffy come back!!! Smile

I suppose we'll start off todays voyage with the "Voyage" by Christy Moore.

The Voyage.
I am a sailor, you're my first mate
We signed on together, we coupled our fate
Hauled up our anchor, determined not to fail
For the hearts treasure, together we set sail
With no maps to guide us we steered our own course
Rode out the storms when the winds were gale force
Sat out the doldrums in patience and hope
Working together we learned how to cope
Chorus:
Life is an ocean and love is a boat
In troubled water that keeps us afloat
When we started the voyage, there was just me and you
Now gathered round us, we have our own crew

Together we're in this relationship
We built it with care to last the whole trip
Our true destination's not marked on any charts
We're navigating to the shores of the heart
Chorus 2x

Wow! Great music last evening and today, folks.

euro, Hear My Song Violetta by Josef was fantastic. I like the sound of vocals in that day and time.

edgar, thanks to you and euro for you comments. Really enjoyed Jerry Vale's It's Magic and, of course, Judy Collins' Tarwarthie. Don't know that one but it's great.

jcboy, Don't know Duffy either, but Mercy was delightful. I loved The Voyage and the visuals were fantastic, euro.

euro, you sent me searching .

Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club is an independent alternative band from Ireland.

Jerry Fish is the alter ego of musician and record producer Gerard Whelan who founded an independent record label and the band Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club, an eclectic, roots collective of musicians, friends and songs inspired in part by a musical circus troupe from Barcelona, the movie soundtracks of Quentin Tarantino and the music of New York artists Lou Reed, Marc Ribot and Willy DeVille (Mink DeVille), Both songs were fantastic.

Two songs for the day, yawl.

First, a birthday girl.

and inspired by jcboy's Duffy, another Mercy that I love.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. Celebrated the end of Irene here, and overdid it a bit.

@edgarblythe,
I like that one by The Fab Four as well, edgar. Thanks for your comment.

This is hilarious. I finally found this song and have no idea why I knew it.

As Homer and Jethro observed.

"Buy this record, won't you honey; Poor old victor needs the money."

I tend to skip along here since I'm always behind..

but I liked finding out about Adam Cohen and then listened to a few others of his.

Also liked Duffy and Mercy..

I am glad a younger person can like Sinatra's music. I believe there is a place for all forms of music in the world, even the kinds I personally would not listen to. I want to play another of Frank's.
