edgar, I loved your goodnight song. In The Night Time was wonderful, and the visuals perfect.

You hurry back, Brit. Roberta Flak's Trade Winds was powerful, and the lyrics whispered "fading smiles".

Don't know Neil Innes, but how delightful was the song Shangri La.

Two songs for the early morning. First, a nice jazz song.

Now a great one by George.

edgar, Thanks again for your comments about what we play here on WA2K radio.

While going through our archives for lyrics to My One and Only Love(I wanted to play the jazz version) I got frozen in time by some jerk trying to give me a free IPod or some such thing. Had to totally shut down all of my equipment and that is my excuse for playing George twice. Your second song by him, I'm Not Ready Yet was equally good.

jcboy, The Very First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Roberta was a tribute to Don McLean.

Here's another birthday boy.

Don't know David Duchovney. Likely I have seen him in a film or two but didn't get the name.

You mean you never watched The X Files, edgar?

Love Arlo's Every Hand in the Land and here's one to match by Joan. Good one for Sunday.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, thanks again for your comments. George Harrison's It's Not for you was great as was Brook's Gone. Sad that both of them are gone.

Hey, Today is "the monsters" birthday, but first a little info.

Charlize Theron born 7 August 1975) is a South African actress, film producer and former fashion model.

She rose to fame in the late 1990s following her roles in 2 Days in the Valley, Mighty Joe Young, The Devil's Advocate and The Cider House Rules. She received critical acclaim and an Academy Award for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster, for which she became the first South African to win an Academy Award in a major acting category. She received another Academy Award nomination for her performance in North Country.

Now a tribute

Deano's Sway is a good one letty.

One of my favorite movies is Sexy Beast and Sway is from the movie, I actually visited Dean Martin's grave site in Westwood Memorial Park. His Crypt has his name, dates and the inscription "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" He's buried not too far from Marilyn Monroe.
