@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, Texas, and thanks again for your comments.

It looks as though Atlantis is cleared for take off.

Loved Sir Paul's Calico Skies. Never heard that one by him.

Today is Steve Lawrence's birthday, so here is one by him and then one by Steve and his wife.

Ah, edgar, you know how I love Tony Martin. All the Things You Are is a beautiful song done by that guy from The Casbah.

How about a funny Martin, Texas?

@edgarblythe,
Yep, The Little Tramp has always been interesting to me.

I knew all of those cowboy songs except the one with the Indians and their wigwams.

The Big Iron on His Hip was the first song that I heard by Marty Robbins, Texas.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Allen Toussaint - Night People.

Night people, hanging out
Looking at each other Waiting for something to happen
Night people, hanging out
Looking at each other
Waiting for something to happen

While the day world is sleeping
Night people are creeping, hanging out
Looking at each other
When the day world stops moving
Night people start grooving, hanging out
Looking at each other
When the day bees stop buzzing
Night people start coming, hanging out
Waiting for something to happen
Night people , hanging out
Looking at each other
Waiting for something to happen

You don't get one thing
Without the other
We got to keep the world alive
If everybody went to sleep
At the same time,
How'd we keep the world alive

In a word we got the night people,
Night people, hanging out
Looking at each other
Waiting for something to happen

Got to see who is with you
Who is with me, who is with who, we're hanging out
Looking at each other
Got to see whatcha wearing, whatcha got
Whatcha sharing , hanging out
Waiting for something to happen

As the day world goes by
Night people doing fine, hanging out
Looking at each other
When the day world starts humping
Night people start pumping, hanging out
Waiting for something to happen
Night people hanging out
Looking at each other
Waiting for soemthing to happen
Night people, hanging out
Looking at each other
Waiting for something to happen
Night people grooving , hanging out
Night people grooving
Night people grooving
Night people grooving
Night people grooving
Night people grooving

Good morning from here in Florida.

edgar, Loved your goodnight song. Dublin in the Rare Aul Times by the Irish tenors was great.

Hey Brit. Loved Night People by Allen Toussaint. Wonder if he is any kin to Toussaint L'Ouverture?

Morning, edgar. Loved both of Perry's songs. Catch a Falling Star and Find a Wheel and it goes Round and Round.

Two songs for the morning here.

First, a birthday boy.

Now, one from George Harrison.

GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters) - Argentine folk singer Facundo Cabral was shot dead in the Guatemalan capital early on Saturday on his way to the airport, a spokesman for the president's office said.

"The vehicle was hit by 18 bullets," presidential spokesman Juan Manuel said.

Another person was injured in the shooting, said a police officer on the scene.

The motive of the shooting was not clear.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comments, edgar. Frankly, Texas, Webb Pierce was one country singer that I didn't care for.

Wow! Too bad about Facundo Cabral. Great vocalist, too. Let's hope that he will be alive and well and living in Argentina.

One to match Webb's "brown eyes".
