The Commodores and Bee Gees were our music, when first I and my wife got together.

@edgarblythe,
What better music to have Ed. Love the Bee Gees as does
my better half. Never got to see them though, pity.

The Bee Gees have a wide range of songs to draw from. Love most of them.

Thanks to euroGeorge, Barry the Brit, and edgar for all those marvelous songs.

Had to check out Black.

"Wonderful Life" is a song by British band Black from their 1987 album of the same name. Written by lead singer Colin Vearncombe, the song was released twice as a single and was successful the second time, becoming a top ten hit in Switzerland, Germany, UK, France, Austria and Italy.

Sammy's I Ain't Got Nobody was unusual for him, but the pun was fun.

Can't believe that Don Gibson did Beautiful Dreamer. Another Stephen Foster song.

The BeeGee's How Deep is Your Love was great. They're still "staying alive" I see.

Hope I didn't miss any comments.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, a great bunch of vocalists

Now, Manhattan Transfers.

Nice to see Canada, England, and Ireland with us today on WA2K.

Ragman, always good to see you.

From Letty with to all of you everywhere

How Deep is You Love was great as well.

@edgarblythe,
Seal sings incredibly. IMHO his voice on some songs at times sounds like Marvin Gaye and perhaps Wilson Pickett or Sam Cooke on 'I've Been Loving You'.

He sings some of my all-time favorite R&B ballads. Not only does he sing them well, but makes me like them again anew. If it isn't enough to have a fantastic voice and commanding style, BTW, he's married to super-duper model Heidi Klum. There's Victoria Secret Youtube video where they sing a duet together. (Like she needs to sing? Her voice is not at all offensive and they smartly keep her mic mixed down, but I digress...);

I hate fireworks! They destroy the atmosphere, but I LOVE this song! They just made fireworks legal in Maine. That PISSES me off! Why wasn't I consulted? The earth is worth dying for... Baby you're a FIRE WORK.

Good Sunday morning. It's a nice day so far. Hope Rex sleeps it off and is contrite for throwing foul language in here like that.
Letty, the Pied Pipers were a group that lasted long enough to feature some great vocalists, who became well known as solo acts. Great song.
Manhattan Transfer - also a good one.

Ragman's Seal songs were very good too. I listened to them and to letty's songs last night. I am not certain if I have heard him before.

Lucy in the Sky video is a great one, as are most Beatles offerings.

(I don't like fireworks, except professional displays. They have been banned totally this year in this part of the world).

@edgarblythe,
He was quite popular in mid-90s through early to mid-2000s. If I were in his shoes...and Heidi Klum was my wife, why I'd...'

I love and own Manhattan Transfer albums. I only wish I'd seen them in person when they were still together.
