@edgarblythe,
edgar, I knew every one of those songs by Burl and Johnny. Great ones, and Dean's Houston was fantastic. Knew that one as well.

How about another fox.

I like Manfred Mann. Never heard his fox song before.
Fox on the run makes me think of Band on the Run, my favorite of all Paul's post-Beatles songs.

@edgarblythe,
Manfred's was the original, edgar. Ah, Sir Paul's Band on the Run. Yep, The Marching Band refused to yield. Love it!

How about Walk Don't Run. I realize that The Ventures did the original version, but I like to find different versions of stuff.

@edgarblythe,
Love Runaway by Del, edgar. Thanks again for the comment and the memory.

How about a little classical for the afternoon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0CLYpYKHNY&feature=related

and the lyrics taken from Debussy.

Our love
Is a dream, but in my reverie
I can see that this love was meant for me

Only a poor fool
Never schooled in the whirlpool
Of romance could be so cruel
As you are to me

My dreams are as worthless as tin to me
Without you life will never begin to be
So love me
As I love you in my reverie
Make my dream a reality
Let's dispense with formality
Come to me in my reverie

Good afternoon, Miss Letty. It looks like we're all gonna be here tomorrow. Here's another Sam Cooke classic sung here by John Boutte.

edgar, All of Me by Dinah was fantastic. That's a great jazz oldie. Thanks again for your comment.

Flower Lady, Welcome back. That version of Sam's A Change is Gonna Come was great. Yep, haven't seen any white zombies as yet. Razz

Then "old blue eyes" wonders about change.

@Letty,
Those were both great, Miss L. I'd forgotten all about Lloyd Price.

Sam Cooke, on the other hand, I could listen to all day.

@JPB,
Wow! flower lady, There'll Be No Second Time was great by Sam the Man. Also enjoyed Al's Lay it Down. Motown is great stuff.

Still on a Cooke kick, however.

Saturday night.Time to put these on....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANKPHxt8i94
Bob Marley & The Wailers - Dancing Shoes.

Who's gonna dance with me tonight?
We're gonna dance till our legs feel kind of tired
But we won't care 'cause we've got the blues
We got on our dancing shoes

We're going skanking all night long
Just as long as they play our song
And this sound we can't refuse
We got on our dancing shoes

You'll never love another song like this
It fills your soul
And this sound, you can't resist
It's got you in a hold

Never in this world there be so much love
As between you and me my love
'Cause we ain't got no time to lose
We're got on our dancing shoes

You'll never love another song like this
It fills your soul
And this sound, you can't resist
It's got you in a hold

Never in this world there be so much love
As between you and me my love
'Cause we ain't got no time to lose
We're got on our dancing shoes

Who's gonna dance with me tonight
We're gonna dance till our legs feel kind of tired
But we won't care 'cause we've got the blues
We've got a lot of rocking to do
We're putting on our dancing shoes
