Goodnight, euroGeorge. Sent me searching again and I found the story behind your song.

The film Blood Trails follows the rise to power of Daniel Plainview - a charismatic and ruthless oil prospector, driven to succeed by his intense hatred of others and psychological need to see any and all competitors fail. When he learns of oil-rich land in California that can be bought cheaply, he moves his operation there and begins manipulating and exploiting the local landowners into selling him their property. Using his young adopted son H.W. to project the image of a caring family man, Plainview gains the cooperation of almost all the locals with lofty promises to build schools and cultivate the land to make their community flourish. Over time, Plainview's gradual accumulation of wealth and power causes his true self to surface, and he begins to slowly alienate himself from everyone in his life.

edgar, Peanuts by Rick and the keens was funny. Thanks for the smile, buddy

Also enjoyed your observation concerning Jung.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First from Marty Robbins.

Now a lovely song by a lovely lady.

Been a good day on WA2K . Nice to have our George here today plus Dublin and London.

From Letty with love to the world.

For a long time, I was convinced Marty Robbins came from Hawaii. I have his Hawaiian album, reason #1. But, I am pretty sure I read it first, or was told by someone I respect. Turns out he was not from there at all.

@Letty,
Morning Ms Letty (nice to see Pete on his birthday),Ed and all WA2K peeps. Not heard this in ages....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2XhhuM9GZo
Patrice Rushen - Forget Me Nots.

sending you forget me nots
to help me to remember
baby please forget me not
i want you to remember

those were the times we had
sharing a joy that we thought would last
memories of love and affection
never really was just like a dream
was it the simple things
that made me so crazy about you
was it your charm or your passion
it's not hard to believe
i love you and i need you so i...

sending you forget me nots
to help me to remember
baby please forget me not
i want you to remember

sending you forget me nots
to help me to remember
baby please forget me not
i want you to remember

did we give up too soon
maybe we needed just a little room
wondering how it all happened
maybe we just need a little time
though we did end as friends
given the chance we could love again
[she'll always love you forever]
it's not hard to believe
i want you and i need you so i...

sending you forget me nots
to help me to remember
baby please forget me not
i want you to remember

sending you forget me nots
to help me to remember
baby please forget me not
i want you to remember

Sending you forget me nots

Baby please forgive me not

good times we had...
they weren't so bad
what a life we shared

Then along came Will Smith and changed the lyrics....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRuHk6Drj2U&feature=related
Will Smith - Men In Black.

Here come the Men in Black
(Uh it's the M.I.B.'s)
(Uh here come the M.I.B.'s)
Here come the Men in Black (Men in Black)
They won't let you remember

Nah, nah, nah,
The good guys dress in black, remember that,
Just in case we ever face to face and make contact.
The title held by me... M.I.B.
Means what you think you saw, you did not see.
So don't blink,
Think what was there but now's gone.
Black suit with the black Ray Ban's on.
Walk in shadow, move in silence,
Guard against extra-terrestrial violence.
But yo we ain't on no government list.
We straight don't exist,
No names and no fingerprints.
Saw something strange,
Watch your back.
Cause you never quite know where the M.I.B.'s is at,
Uh and...

Here come the Men in Black. (Men in Black)
The galaxy defenders. (uh oh, uh oh)
Here come the Men in Black. (Men in Black)
They won't let you remember. (won't remember)
(uh uh, uh uh)

Now from the deepest of the darkest of night,
On the horizon, bright light in the site tight,
Cameras zoom, only impending doom.
But then like BOOM black suits fill the room up.
With the quickness talk with the witnesses,
Hypnotizer, neuralizer.
Vivid memories turn to fantasies.
Ain't no M.I.B.'s.
Can I please,
Do what we say that's the way we kick it.
Ya know what I mean,
I say my noisy cricket get wicked on ya.
We're your first, last and only line of defence,
Against the worst scum of the universe.
So don't fear us, cheer us.
If you ever get near us, don't jeer us.
We're the fearless.
M.I.B.'s freezin' up all the flack.
What's that stand for?
Men In Black.
Uh, M-m-m-...

The Men in Black.
(Uh uh uh)
The Men in Black.
(Uh uh uh)
The Men in Black.
(Uh uh uh, ah ah ah)

Let me see ya just bounce it with me.
Just bounce with me.
Just bounce it with me. C'mon,
Let me see ya just slide with me.
Just slide with me.
Just slide with me. C'mon.
Let me see ya take a walk with me.
Just walk with me.
Take a walk with me. C'mon,
And make your neck work.
Now freeze.

Here come the Men in Black. (Men in Black)
The galaxy defenders. (ooh ooh)
Here come the Men in Black. (Men in Black)
They won't let you remember. (uh no, no)

A-ight check it.
Let me tell you this in closin'.
I know we might seem imposin',
But trust me if we ever show in your section.
Believe me it's for your own protection.
Cuz we see things that you need not see,
And we be places that you need not be.
So go with your life,
Forget that Roswell crap.
Show love to the black suit.
Cuz that's the Men in,
That's the Men in...
That's the Men in...

Here come the Men in Black. (Here they come)
The galaxy defenders. (galaxy defenders)
Here come the Men in Black. (oh, here they come)
They won't let you remember. (won't let you remember)

Here come the Men in Black. (Oh, here they come)
The galaxy defenders. (uh oh, uh oh)
Here come the Men in Black.
They won't let you remember.

Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats.

One night to be confused
One night to speed up truth
We had a promise made
Four hands and then away

Both under influence
We had divine scent
To know what to say
Mind is a razor blade

To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no

One night of magic rush
The start, a simple touch
One night to push and scream
And then relief

Ten days of perfect tunes
The colors, red and blue
We had a promise made
We were in love

To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no

To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough

And you
You knew the hand of the Devil
And you
Kept us awake with wolf's teeth
Sharing different heartbeats in one night

To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough
For me, no

To call for hands of above
To lean on
Wouldn't be good enough

Good early morning, WA2K radio folks.

edgar, thanks again for your comments, and I really enjoyed your goodnight song by Buddy. Don't know Dearest, however.

Hey, Brit. Patrice and her Forget Me Nots was fabulous. What a lovely lady and rhythm was her thing. Don't think that she has to worry about Will nor Tommy Lee Jones either.

Wow! Jose Gonzalez was an eye opener. Great visuals and those bouncing balls really expressed heartbeats. Loved it, London.

Today, a birthday boy for the morning.

Ah, edgar. Hope you can make it back today. Honeycomb is a great one.

Brit, love Belfast Child by Simple Minds. (inserting "go forth and multiply") Razz

Today is Jimmy Stewart's birthday, and here is a tribute to him. I recall finding out that Vertigo was based on Poe's Ligeia so we'll do a trailer of that one next.

Now Poe from whom Hitchcock based the movie.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Loved The Fox by Harry. Never heard that one. Peter Sellers in The Fox is also a new one to me. You gave me a smile with your video of The Fox and The Crow. Thanks again for your comments and Reynard.

Great bicycle, barry. I hate having to hate hate, but we've got to start somewhere.
Fats was a wonderful performer and songwriter. I love to watch him in old movies.
Burl Ives had the original of Belafonte's The Fox. Here is Burl with Johnny Cash.
