Good morning, WA2K folks. It's still dark here.

edgar, Loved your goodnight song by Jerry Lee. Don't know City Lights, but it was great. Hurry back, Texas.

Hey, Brit. Adele's That's it, I Quit was great. Just like Hank, she's moving on.

Fantastic photo of Endeavor. I missed it as you may know.

Love Sam Cooke, but had no idea that he did I Dream of Jeannie.

I saw where her royal highness is visiting the Republic, euroGeorge. Also noted that a bomb was found on a bus near Dublin. UhOh!

Who Wants to Live Forever by Queen is one of my favorites. Was that Freddie Mercury singing? If I recall correctly, that song was from The Highlander.

" there's a moon out in space, with a cloud drifting over its face". Very unusual to see a setting moon, and it has happened here quite often lately.

More synchronicity. Today is Enya's birthday, so here is a lovely song by a talented lady.

Oops, Brit. Missed your Glimmer of Hope Great one and another tribute to the Republic. Thanks.

@Barry The Mod,
No worries Barry, I'm sure she'll be well looked after. Pretty symbolic that
she is laying a wreath at Garden of Remembrance.
Of course you will get some protesters, what can you do, but I'm sure nothing
will happen and she will have a pleasant visit.
To be honest I'm not a great fan of Royalty, but as head of state of our nearest
neighbour she deserves to be treated with respect.

Phil.

Miss Letty, theres a pipe bomb found every other day here, the ordinary
criminals are using them in their gang wars.
Don't worry, the lady will be fine.

Good morning. It's Tuesday but it feels like Monday. Mr. Green
I like the Sam Cooke and Movin on songs. I see now that Arnold and Maria separated because it came out that he fathered a child with an employee. Never heered Phil do The Times Be Altering.

@laughoutlood,
LOL, welcome to WA2K radio. That version of Ring of Fire by Adam Lambert was quite unusual. From minor to major at the bridge was totally different as is he. I must say that Randy kept his cool.

Thanks again to euro and edgar for their comments.

Now, to match euro's and edgar's comments.

A tribute to Jerry and Dean.(loved that Cinderella dance)

@edgarblythe,
Wow! You sent me searching again, edgar. The Chad Mitchell Trio's Violets of Dawn was great.

The Chad Mitchell Trio were a North American vocal group who gained notoriety during the 1960s. They performed folk songs, some of which were traditionally passed down and some of their own compositions. Unlike many fellow folk music groups, none of the trio played instruments. They became popular in some quarters, and were particularly notable for performing satirical songs that criticized current events during the turmoil in the United States following the cold war and a time of unrest brought about the civil rights movements and the Vietnam War, unlike the typical 'folk music' and singer-songwriter musicians of their time. Shocked to find out that John Denver was a member of the group.

Thanks again for your comments on what we play here, Texas.

Another birthday girl. Where did our Irish fan go?

Here's another Irish lady and today is her birthday.

good though.

edgar, the Chad Mitchell song about Freud was hilarious. Thanks for the smile.

@edgarblythe,
Love Tom T. edgar. Had no idea that he wrote Harper Valley PTA. Didn't know that one by him, buddy. Thanks for the introduction.

Here's another George and I am stunned that he sings. First time ever that I have heard that man do a vocal.
