Good morning, radiopeeples.
Barry, I am always surprised how much fun they have in Bollywood. My own preconditioning makes me see it that way.

Allo, allo, allo......

Anyone want to hear my "earworm" that I've been quietly humming all day?

From an era when moustachioed men were considered macho...

Peter Sarstedt.

Love Bollywood, Bazza, but it always puts me in the mood for a vindaloo.

Wow! got up early to see Endeavor lift off and I missed it.

edgar, Mary in the Morning by another Ed was great.

Welcome back O.G. (Gus) I like men with van dykes as well. Where Do You Go to my Lovely was fantastic.

Hey, Irish. Still like Sean Connery as J.B., but Pierce wasn't bad. We Have All the Time in the World was a great tribute to yet another Bond. Thanks. Old Sachmo does everything well.

Well, here's a memory of another rocket, yawl.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks, Irish. Virginia is a beautiful state and got its name from the virgin queen of England.
The last time I was there, was for the memorial service of my son at our ancestral home.

Last evening I saw Christopher Lee as Rasputin the Mad Monk. I have always been fascinated with Nicholas and Alexandra. So here is a trailer adapted from the book by the Massies. Here are two sources of information concerning Tsarist Russia.

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar, and do NOT overdo, ok?

Breaking news:

Singer Etta James was admitted to a Southern California hospital with a potentially deadly infection. James, 73, has been ailing for months and her son, Sametto James, tells told the local press that his mother was admitted to an undisclosed hospital earlier this week for treatment of sepsis caused by a urinary tract infection.

James has a host of medical problems, including from dementia, leukemia, kidney problems and other ailments. We can only hope that she is able to rest comfortably despite all of her ailments.

One of her most famous songs.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, Texas. You don't always have to acknowledge what we play here, buddy.

Loved Jerry Lee's version of Shake, Rattle, and Roll and Wild One by Bobby was great.

Incidentally, watch out for those white Russian cocktails. They'll do things to your mind.

euroGeorge gave me a tour through Virginia and I loved it.

Hmmm. Must speak with our editor about my mistake on playing the mad monk twice. Sorry for that, yawl.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, one that my mom sang to me and I in turn sang you my daughter.

Now another memory about Anastasia.

http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi3652583705/

I recall having told JPB about that one.

Nice to have Dublin and London with us today.

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love

I know that Red Wing song, letty. Don't know why.
Anastasia will continue to fascinate for a long time, I suppose.

Morning Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K peeps and here in the UK it's National Sandwich Week, celebrating those magnificent slices of bread and everything we stuff between them.
Kicking off with Adele....

Adele - That's It I Quit I'm Moving On.

When we used to say goodnight I'd always kiss and hold you tight
But lately you don't seem to care
You close the door and leave me standing there
Oh
Honey that's not fair
That's it
I quit
I'm moving on

The other night we had a date
And you showed up two hours late
And though your hair was all in place
Somebody smeared their lipstick on your face
Oh
They smeared it every place
Yeah
That's it
Honey I quit
I'm moving on
Oh

You made me want you
You made me leave you
You made me tumble and fall
But if I can't have you the way I want you I don't want you at all

Baby I can take a lot 'cause I love everything you've got
Though your kisses fill me so
If you got someone else I gotta go
Oh
That you know
Yeah
That's it
Honey I quit
I'm moving on
Oh

You made me want you
You made me leave you
You made me tumble and fall
But if I can't have you the way I want you I don't want you at all

Baby I can take a lot 'cause I love everything you've got
And though your kisses fill me so
If you've got someone else I gotta go
Oh that you know
So that's it
Baby I quit
I'm moving on

An exhaust cloud forms around Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida as space shuttle Endeavour soars into the sky on the STS-134 mission to the International Space Station. The shuttle and its six-member crew lifted off from Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 8:56 a.m. EDT on May 16. STS-134 will deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-2 (AMS), Express Logistics Carrier-3, a high-pressure gas tank and additional spare parts for the Dextre robotic helper to the International Space Station.

@Barry The Mod,
Good Morning WA2K.
I say, the Queen is paying us a visit today. The first British monarch
in a 100 years to visit Ireland (indeed since the founding of the Republic).
What a busy month we have, President Obama visiting us shortly too.

Speaking of Queen.....
