@Letty,
I listened to the Moonlit Night and about fell asleep in my chair, so went to bed. Good music, however.

Barry's first song got me to thinking Beatles. Couldn't pinpoint the right song, but this one will do.

Good morning, all. (afternoon in England)

Brit, I loved all three of your songs especially Two Moon's Night with that awesome flute. Didn't know Nobody Told Me by Vintage nor Fragile by Sting. Thanks for the introduction, London.

Morning, edgar. Yep, When Ella doesn't scat vocalize, she is fantastic as is ole blue eyes. Soothing moon music is the best way to help one sleep.

Rubber Soul was a great one and I didn't know it was Say the Word by the Fab Four . Thanks again for your comments, buddy.

A couple of songs for the early morning, yawl.

First, one to match edgar's Rubber Soul.

And, a birthday boy.

A bit of info on the guy.

Peter Kenneth Frampton (born 22 April 1950) is an English musician, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He was previously associated with the bands Humble Pie and The Herd. Frampton's international breakthrough album was his live release, Frampton Comes Alive!. The album sold over 6 million copies in the United States alone and spawned several hits. Since then he has released several major albums. He has also worked with David Bowie and both Matt Cameron and Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, among others. Frampton is best known for such hits as "Show Me the Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", "Do You Feel Like We Do", and "I'm in You", which to this day, remain staples on classic-rock radio. He has also appeared as himself in television shows such as The Simpsons, The Colbert Report and Family Guy.

Red Rubber Ball was written early in Paul Simon's career. It actually was a hit record for a group called The Cyrcle. I believe Paul and Art were still calling themselves Tom and Jerry, but my time line could be off.

Frampton - Don't have much to say about him.

@edgarblythe,
Love that acoustic reggae, edgar. Slow Train is one that I don't know, but I noticed that Bob Dylan did it originally. Thanks for that euphemistic comment of Mr. Frampton. Razz

Bet many of us know this guy whose birthday is today. Finally found out that the zinging in the background is created by flutes.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! I had no idea that The Turtles did that one, edgar. Old Blue Eyes was the first one that I knew of that song, buddy. Didn't the Turtles also do So Happy Together?

Thanks once again for your comments.

I also liked Galveston by Glen.

Another birthday boy.

Never quite understood The Shinning, however, and that's because Stephen King did not elaborate on the hotel having been built on The Donner Pass.

I did not watch The Shining, because Jack Nicholson's part awoke in me memories too strong of my step father.

@edgarblythe,
Love Chicago, edgar. I think I understand about your identity with your step father and Jack in The Shinning. I've been there as well, Texas.

Hard for Me to Say I'm Sorry reminds me of that silly movie Love Story in which the epithet " Love means never having to say you're sorry." appears Rolling Eyes

Actually, if you read the book, the REAL love story was between the young man and his father. Check it out sometimes.

Two of my favorites from Chicago.

Those are two really good songs, letty.
I did not even want to see Love Story. The song from it was pretty good, though.

@edgarblythe,
Love Chuck Berry, edgar. He is a great rock and roll man. Don't know Back in the USA, however. Thanks for the introduction, Texas.

I was searching for "blackwater" because I recall something about it having been a natural preserve, and since it is Earth Day here's what I found.

Then, of course, it reminded me of this song.

@edgarblythe,
You've played Stonewall Jackson before, edgar, and I have come to appreciate the man. Loved Muddy Water.

How about Moody River, then.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, I love Down By the Riverside. I recall that I was always getting Charlie Pride and Charlie Rich confused. No longer, Texas.

Water is supposed to be cleansing, so how about a fountain, since this is the day that Jesus was crucified.

That one makes me think of the crucifixion scene in Ben Hur, where the blood runs with the water to the spot where Ben Hur's mother and sister are huddled.

Here on a different track is a wedding song
