G'Day WA2K,
Off to work shortly, thought I might cheer you up before I go.
Heres a great artist, Declan O' Rourke. Bought his new album
last Saturday, excellent.
His new album is called "MAG PAI ZAI", great title.

Here he is singing one of his own songs "GALILEO".

Later Yawl.

Wow! a bit too early for me today methinks.

edgar, thanks again for your comment and Donovan's song about his true love's hair was excellent.

UhOh! Our Irishman ran off before we got to tell him his song wouldn't play. I found it, however, and the man is fantastic.

So, here he is along with Grenada.

Now, a lovely rendition of this famous song, yawl.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9hZtFQch0o&feature=related

the lyrics.

Granada, I'm falling under your spell
And if you could speak, what a fascinating tale you would tell
Of an age the world has long forgotten
Of an age that weaves a silent magic in Granada today

The dawn in the sky greets the day with a sigh for Granada
For she can remember the splendor that once was Granada
It still can be found in the hills all around as I wand'r along
Entranced by the beauty before me
Entranced by a land full of sunshine and flowers and song

And when day is done and the sun starts to set in Granada
I envy the blush of the snow-clad Sierra Nevada
For soon it will welcome the star while a thousand guitars
Play a soft habaera

Then moonlit Granada will live again the glory of yesterday
Romantic and gay!!!

@edgarblythe,
I remember Goldie best in Butterflys Are Free, edgar.

Well, buddy, you sent me searching again.

Alton Delmore (December 25, 1908 - June 8, 1964) and Rabon Delmore (December 3, 1916 - December 4, 1952), billed as The Delmore Brothers, were country music pioneers and stars of the Grand Ole Opry in the 1930s. The Delmore Brothers, together with other brother duets such as the Louvin Brothers, the Blue Sky Boys, the Monroe Brothers (Birch, Charlie and Bill Monroe), the McGee Brothers, and The Stanley Brothers, had a profound impact on the history of country music and American popular music.

Blues Stay Away From Me was good.

Bet you know this gal, Texas.

Saw her in the movie Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman as Dr. Alex Cross. Yikes!

I know a bit about Ashley Judd, as she is half sister to one of the singing Judds, but have never seen her in a film. I like Pearl Jam.

@edgarblythe,
Don Gibson is great, edgar. Strange, he doesn't sound as those he running away from the blues.

Speaking of butterflies, they are all over my California Lavender bush with white flowers.

I was responsible for this Roy Orbison song getting removed from a jukebox. So I believe. I played it once daily as I had my coffee. After about five times, the record was gone. So I had my coffee elsewhere thereafter.

@edgarblythe,
It was funny, edgar, and you may not remember, but you're the one who introduced me and WA2K radio to Bubba.

Loved Jukebox Saturday Night, and you sent me searching again, Texas.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! That was a fantastic montage of The Jordanaires, edgar. Thanks for that great review, and your comment.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs. First, Rachmanioff from which the second by 'old blue eyes" is taken.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8Vrj5RN0Fw

Now, Francis Albert.

Hope this works as my equipment has been a bit faulty.

Good to have London and Dublin with us today.

Both videos are great, letty. I naturally lean toward Frank's version, because I generally listen to vocalists the most.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, I remember Nola best by Les Paul. Great song.

Hey, Brit. Don't know that bluegrass bunch, but Rabbit in a Log was great. The guy on my right resembles Frank Apisa. Hope he's all right.

Here's a birthday boy.

Good morning.
I like that song Luther sings this morning.
Rabbit in a log (he's looking for a turkey in a straw) is a good one too.
