Good morning from Florida, WA2K radio folks.

edgar, loved your goodnight song. Don't know The Paris Sisters, but I Love How you Love Me was great. You hurry back, Texas.

Hey, Brit. Little Miss Higgins' In the Middle of Nowhere was a top tapper, and Buck Johnson's Down by the River reminded me of "...going to lay down my burden, down by the river side..."

Also liked Helen's You Better Shop Around. I always smiled at that song.

Two songs for the morning here.

First, a birthday boy. What a surprise to find out this info on the guy.

Alpert was born in Los Angeles, California, into a Jewish family of Russian and Romanian origins. What a wealth of music those immigrants have brought to us.

and now, dedicated to the rain here.

@Letty,
Hey Hey Hey!
Hi Miss Letty & all at WA2K.

Loving it all, Especially Herb Alpert and Little Miss Higgins.

Have not heard Simple Minds in a while, they arrived on the
scene the same time as U2. They were kind of competing for
the same fans, obviously U2 won out in the end.

Red Red Wine...UB4O.

@eurocelticyankee,
euroGeorge, thanks again for your comments. Love that reggae, buddy. Red, Red, Wine is great!

March is supposed to go out like a lamb. It's still pouring rain here.

Today is Joseph Haydn's birthday, so how about one by that classical genius.

My favorite by him is The Surprise symphony, however.

@neko nomad,
The worst snow that we ever had in Virginia was a wet snow in April. It would freeze at night and then became a dangerous glacier.

Another rain song, yawl.

Now another tribute to Haydn.

Papa Haydn's dead and gone,
But his music lingers on.

When his heart was full of bliss,
He played jolly tunes like this.

The surprise part was to awaken the audience. Razz

Hey, edgar, thanks for the comment on Pa Pa Haydn.

Loved the Lonely Raindrops song.I don't know Dee, however.

I like The Lonely Bull as well, Texas.

Remember this one?

Hi All,
Creedence are a great band. Enjoyed Mr Lightfoot.
Nice mellow two from Haydn.
Ed enjoyed Herb & Dee too.
Love Raindrops too, Miss Letty.

Here's a song I like, I couldn't decide which video to
show, their both nice, so here's both of them. (same song)

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks again for your comments, euroGeorge.

I was completely taken with both versions of The Book Of Love by Peter Gabriel.

I recognized most of the couples in the first video, but the second one was good as well. Yep, the book of love can be heavy at times.

Incidentally, Irish. Is that the Peter Gabriel who was a part of a group called Genesis?

Here are two songs to match yours.

Now, another Gabriel.

@Letty,
Letty, Monotones and Patti were very good.

Yes Peter Gabriel was a member of Genesis.
