@edgarblythe,
I agree with Ed, Xuxa is very good, she looks more Scandinavian
than Brazilian.
Ed your one is blocked here.

eruoGeorge, Loved Thin Lizzie's songs. Here is the statue of Phil Lynott in Dublin.

Thanks to edgar and our Irishman for your comments.

edgar. The ShangriLas Leader of the Pack was a great one as well.

Hope I didn't miss commenting on each contribution as the kids from Orlando are here, but have just gone to the beach.

Today is this lady's birthday, and here's one by her.

@edgarblythe,
I don't listen to Mariah either, edgar. Just played that song because it was her birthday.

Dear Richie. I think of La Bamba when I see his name. That was a good one by him. Didn't Lou Diamond Phillips do his life story?

Today is Sarah Vaughn's birthday, so here is a tribute to her.

Lou Diamand Phillips did portray Richie Valens in the film, letty. When I play a Richie song, I look for the real Richie's picture, so people will not think he looks like Lou.

@Letty,
Enjoyed Ritchie and Sarah, two great tracks.
I was looking up the song "Blue Moon" and couldn't believe
the amount of artists who have recorded it from Elvis, Sinatra
to Dylan & Clapton. I wonder who is the definitive singer.
I'll give this Gal a go.

Thanks for both yours and edgar's comments.

edgar, I had no idea that the Four Aces did Stranger in Paradise. A great song from Kismet.

Here's the original that you spoke about.

I love Billie Holiday also.
La Bamba didn't go like that until Richie decided it should. Good choice.

@eurocelticyankee,
Edgar, Loved The Best is Yet to Come. Ah, I miss plums.

euroGeorge, you are a good sport. I got that from an old poem that my daddy used to read to us. "Down Cellar said the Cricket." Check it out.

I did like Elizabeth Taylor in The Sandpiper. Here is the theme from it.

First, just a small photo of those little birds that use to run from the surf here where I live to protect those tiny legs.
