Francis, that one by Enya is lovely. On My Way Home brings back such memories.

euro, Those Luke Kelly songs were great. Thanks, Irish.

Rock, welcome back. I know that one, buddy. Actually, I was thinking of Eric Berne's book.

Charlotte Church did another great song. How delightful the day has been on our wee radio station.

edgar, Don't know Billy Walker, but his song about Juanita and Roses was awesome.

Pssst, euro. What Francis meant was that I have traced my ancestry back to Wales and Ragland/Raglan castle. Loved your virtual tour.

Here's one about Wales, yawl.

@Letty,
Great song and video of Wales Letty.
I love Wales, beautiful country and really friendly people.
I've toured Wales a few times on motorbike, amazing mountain roads
for biking.
It's certainly a heritage to be proud of, Miss Letty.
Or should I call you Miss Taffy. Here's a Cardiff lass.

@eurocelticyankee,
Wow! Love that "Life" song by Shirley, eruoGeorge.

You did give me a smile when I recall this nursery rhyme.

Taffy was a Welshman,
Taffy was a thief;
Taffy came to my house
And stole a piece of beef.

I went to Taffy's house,
Taffy was not home;
Taffy came to my house
And stole a marrow bone.

I went to Taffy's house,
Taffy was not in;
Taffy came to my house
And stole a silver pin.

I went to Taffy's house,
Taffy was in bed;
I took up a poker
And threw it at his head
Razz

Here's Dame Shirley and the Bond songs.

edgar, I love that Willow song. Hmmm, can't make out the language. Was it Russian, Texas?

Here's an answer to our Irishman's motorcycle ride. I think I'd rather take a bus. Cool

Good luck with the lottery, yawl.

I don't know the language, letty.
Long time since I heard that one by Yes.
It is my feeling that the right side of the road is the correct one on which to motor about. Very Happy

On the language issue, the singer is Norwegian.

@edgarblythe,
I know the Brits drive on the opposite side of the road compared to us 'Mericans, edgar.

Glad that it was Norwegian, because that gives me a chance to play Grieg.

@edgarblythe,
That Norwegian singer is very good, I wouldn't be a
big Yes fan, amazing video though.

There's still quite a few of us Lefty drivers around Ed.
Australia, Japan, I think India and maybe a few others.
Why that is, I'm not sure. I suppose some hang up from
our colonial past, but that doesn't explain the Japanese.
Ahh.. Japan.

Just like Honey......Jesus & Mary chain.

Two beautiful videos, Letty. I Love Queen's Radio Ga GA.
One of the best live songs I've ever heard. The end was missing Sad

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks for your comments, euroGeorge. So sorry that the end was missing. Do you mean Queen's song?

Loved your Lost in Translation offering. I didn't see the movie but here is another scene, buddy.

@Letty,
Thanks for the video, Letty. I really liked that movie, Bill Murray
was excellent as the guy going through a "midlife crisis" and Scarlett
Johansson played the unhappy newly wed perfectly and together
they formed an unlikely bond.
No the end was missing from the Waterfalls video which had Queen
singing on it. No worries.
I think that was u2 on the "Lost in Translation" video. Good stuff.

@eurocelticyankee,
You're welcome my Irish friend, and thank you for the info on U2.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, a Desert Rose.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAPZZcYd5cs&feature=related

Now, a delightful ragtime version of The Japanese Sandman.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ2BN7OXIn0&feature=related

and the lyrics.

The Japanese Sandman is a song from 1920, composed by Richard A. Whiting and with lyrics by Raymond B. Egan.

Won't you stretch imagination for the moment and come with me
Let us hasten to a nation lying over the western sea
Hide behind the cherry blossoms here's a sight that will please your eyes
There's a baby with a lady of Japan singing lullabies
Night winds breath her sighs here's the Japanese sandman.

Just as silent as we came we'll leave the land of the painted fan
Wander lightly or you'll wake the little people of old Japan
May repose and pleasant dreaming be their share while the hours are small
Like an echo of the song I hear the Japanese Sandman

It's the Japanese Sandman sneaking on with the dew just an old second hand man
He'll buy your old day from you
he will take every sorrow of the day that is through
and he'll give you tomorrow just to start a life anew
then you'll be a bit older in the dawn when you wake
and you'll be a bit bolder with the new day you make
here's the Japanese Sandman trade him silver for gold
just an old second hand man trading new days for old.

So nice to have London, Paris, and Dublin with us tonight.

and, of course, us 'mericans who drive on the right side of the road. Razz

With love and music from Letty

I haven't seen Bill Murray's movie, but it looked pretty good.
The songs by Sting and Allan Dale are good ones.
