Good morning. I appear to have lost my phone. Oh dear. Anyway, it should be an otherwise good day.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, loved your goodnight song, and Written on a Subway Wall was great. Thanks for the introduction. You hurry back after you've found your song.

Hey, Brit. Red Nose School Day was funny. Thanks for the smile for today.

Maybe this tribute to Wilson will get everyone energized. It's his birthday.

Loved your E.L.O. Telephone line, Brit, and The Commitments Midnight hour reminded me of this Super Moon scheduled for tomorrow.

It is science or fiction concerning the devastation that it is supposed to wreak on the earth? Scary

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, our Brit is down and gone with Sarah and La Luna. Love that.

Wow! I love that Shenandoah by the Three Irish Tenors, and thanks for the comment. Glad you found your ET so now you can phone home. Razz

Today is Charlie Pride's birthday, so here is a medley by him.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Thanks again for your comment. (don't forget to watch the Super Moon tomorrow)

My word, Texas, a Japanese guy does Elvis and a Spanish guy does Glen. Loved 'em both.

Here's a medley from Glen Campbell and it covers a lot of performers.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! That song is another that tells a story, Texas. Don't know Maddox Bros. and Rose, but it seems that another lawyer just bit the dust. Thanks again for your comment concerning Glen, buddy.

It's Irene Cara's birthday, and I think she may be best know for this song.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, love that Whaling Song by The Kingston Trio. Started to play The Walloping Widow Blind but I don't want to offend the Brits. Razz

Saying goodnight with two songs.

First, a short tribute to a butterfly and a dove.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U69BgpERMuc&feature=related

Now, my very favorite by Thomas Moore.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxERpGTbKPA&feature=related

There are different stories about the lady for who it was written, among them being that this was Moore's wife who contracted smallpox. I choose to believe that one.

Until tomorrow,

From Letty with love

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, edgar. Well, you sent me to the archives again, and I found that Deanna is still with us. Love's Old Sweet Song is beautiful. Just noticed that she also did I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen. I used to think that was Irish, but it isn't.

Thanks again for your comments, buddy.

How about The Four Freshmen today. They truly are fabulous. They do acapella as well as play their own instruments.
