edgar, really loved Youngbloods' Get Together. Great one!

Hey, here's George and tsar back with us. Great to see you guys again.

tsar, I really love Sunday Kind of Love by Etta.

George, Don't know Dave Dudley's Six Days on the Road but it was great as was Rock Me Baby by that fabulous four of a different kind .

Here's another version of Leonard's song.

Good ones tsar and george.
Leonard Cohen went broke before he wrote Hallelujah, letty. But that song has been recorded by so many artists, I think it made him solvent all on its own.

edgar, thanks for the explanation about Leonard. Didn't know that, buddy.

Shooter Jennings' Fourth of July was fantastic. Don't know him. You're a cracker jack Razz

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a match for fireworks. It's Cannonball.

We lived our little drama
We kissed in a field of white
And stars fell on Alabama
Last night
I can't forget the glamour
Your eyes held a tender light
While stars fell on Alabama last night
.
I never planned in my imagination
A situation - so heavenly
A fairy land where no one
else could enter
And in the center - just you and me, dear.

My heart beat like a hammer
My Arms wound around you tight
And stars fell on Alabama
Last night

Miss you WilliamHenry.

From Letty with love and a memory

Good morning people. Going to be a busy day, as I am going to work shortly and then going to the rodeo this evening. I forgot which performer will entertain us. Shows how high he is on my list of priorities. I will be on line in the early afternoon. Beyond that - ?????

Good early morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, didn't know that one by "the jester" but it was great. You hurry back.

Hey, Brit. Enjoyed all of your contributions, but only knew one and that was by B.B.King. You hurry back as well.

Today is Ravel's birthday, and here is a beautiful one by him.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, Texas. I know Tim McGraw but I don't know My Best Friend. So glad you get to see him this evening.

Here's one that I have been searching out for a long time. Finally found it and I just found out the man is still alive. Wow!

Edmundo, yawl.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! I love that Flamingo song, edgar. I think that the reason that we know oldies, is because someone later records them. Of course, I know the Duke, but Herb Jeffries? Nope. His voice is unbelievable. What a falsetto, Texas.

Hears a funny parody on a song I love.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I love that song. "...with a love that's true, always...."

Enjoy Tim tonight and we'll see you tomorrow.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First Bill Evans. STRAY CAT IS BACK!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2LFVWBmoiw&feature=related

The lyrics:

The night is like a lovely tune, beware my foolish heart!
How white the ever constant moon, take care, my foolish heart!

There's a line between love and fascination,
That's hard to see on an evening such as this,
For they give the very same sensation.
When you are lost in the passion of a kiss.

Your lips are much too close to mine, beware my foolish heart!
But should our eager lips combine, then let the fire start.
For this time it isn't fascination, or a dream that will fade and fall apart,
It's love this time, it's love, my foolish heart!

Now a birthday boy, but first some info.

Paul Gerald Cattermole (born 7 March 1977), St Albans, Hertfordshire, England) is an English singer and actor. He was previously a member of S Club 7, and was the lead singer of the band Skua and latterly Charlie Bullitt until he left in October 2005
