Good Morning, Everyone! I mentioned this legendary song a few weeks ago. Here is Johnny Cash performing the song on television.

@edgarblythe,
Nope, It's who, Texas. Later I'll explain why.

Loved that Pawn Shop song by Guy. Since I no longer watch football, I don't have to worry about who wins or loses.

Here's a bit of info on the guy, Guy. Razz

Guy Mitchell (February 27, 1927 – July 1, 1999) was an American pop singer, successful in his homeland, the U.K. and Australia. As an international recording star of the 1950s he achieved record sales in excess of 44 million units and this included six million-selling singles.

In the fall of 1957, Mitchell starred in his own ABC variety show, The Guy Mitchell Show. He further appeared as George Romack on the 1961 NBC western detective series Whispering Smith, with World War II hero Audie Murphy in the leading role.

And, y'all, a couple of more songs by him.

I love anything by Johnny Cash. Shel Silverstein's Boy Named Sue is great.
When I was a boy in California, I heard Guy Mitchell on the radio quite a bit. That's why I know to go to him for certain songs.

@edgarblythe,
Love Johnny's Indian Drums, edgar. Keely Smith was part Indian as were many famous celebs.

I like this one, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again, edgar, for the comment.

That one by "the jester" is great. Never heard it before. Thanks for playing it.

Today is Bob Marley's birthday, and I love the guy. Here is one that I particularly like.

Hi, WA2K.
I seen that Denzel Washington film, The Fallen, I thought it
was good & the Stones song fitted it perfectly. I really like Denzel
Washington, he's made some great movies. Really liked that
Japanese artist Fukuyama Masaharu, new to me, but very good.
Guy Mitchel was good too Miss Letty & some great pictures in the
Cherokee video.
Some great images in the Pawn shop song video, Ed. I loved Johnny
singing Indian drums & the respect he showed to the natives. I enjoyed
A boy named Sue as well. Johnny was THE MAN. Sign on a Window was
blocked Ed, I've noticed that with a lot of Dylan's stuff, well protected,
seems all you can get are covers on a lot of his music, I've been looking
for "I want you" for ages but all thats there are cover versions. I enjoyed
Daffodils, read by Jeremy Irons, he's settled in Cork. Good actor always
picked odd roles.
Happy Birthday to Bob Marley, a legend. One Love is one of his best,
Here's another.

NATURAL MYSTIC.

Ah, poetry and music day on WA2K.

edgar, Daffodils is one of my favorite poems. "...the bliss of solitude..."

euroGeorge. What a fabulous song by Bob Marley. Natural Mystic is fabulous, and thanks to you and edgar for your continued comments.

Another poem.

Edna St. Vincent Mallay.

I like Nat very much. Natalie is good too. Johnny Cash's reading of the Harp Weaver is one he did on a Christmas album, I think, but it is good all the time.
At one time, all of Dylan's music seemed to be on youtube, but most of it is blocked here also now.
Well, Simon and Garfunkle don't seem to be blocked

Former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore, 58, passed away Sunday (Feb. 6), according to the Irish Times, which offered several details surrounding his untimely death.

Moore was found dead inside his room at the luxury Kempinski Resort Hotel in Estepona, a town in Southern Spain's Costa del Sol. 'The Loner' performer was reported to have been on holiday at the hotel. A spokesman for the British Foreign Office heard news of the Irish entertainer's passing and is prepared to offer support. "We are aware of the death of a British national in Estepona," the spokesman said. "We stand ready to offer consular assistance."

With more than 15 solo studio albums and just as many with hard rock band Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore's lauded career and success was one aspiring guitarist's hoped to one day achieve
