Evening Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K folks.David Bowie ! Who he ? Wink Love him to pieces,a true original.Check out Ziggy Stardust Smile .
Onwards and upwards with Adele....
She was born in London and began singing at age four and asserts that she became obsessed with voices. She would impersonate the Spice Girls at dinner parties and, as a preteen, she sang Destiny's Child songs at her school. Adele went through a phase where she wore Slipknot clothing and a studded dog collar,as did a lot of teens.Adele was influenced by the music of Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald by accident, as she stumbled on the artists' CDs at a local HMV store while looking for a new hairstyle.
Here's her live on Dutch TV....

Adele - Rolling In The Deep.

There is a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark,

Finally, I can see you crystal clear,
Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your **** bare,
See how I'll leave with every piece of you,
Don't underestimate the things that I will do,

There is a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark,

The scars of your love remind me of us,
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all,
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
I can't help feeling,

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside of your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Baby, I have no story to be told,
But I've heard one on you and I'm gonna make your head burn,
Think of me in the depths of your despair,
Make a home down there as mine sure won't be shared,

The scars of your love remind me of us,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
I can't help feeling,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside of your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Could have had it all,
Rolling in the deep,
You had my heart inside of your hand,
But you played it with a beating,

Throw your soul through every open door,
Count your blessings to find what you look for,
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold,
You pay me back in kind and reap just what you sow,

(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
We could have had it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
It all, it all, it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside of your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside of your hand,

But you played it,
You played it,
You played it,
You played it to the beat.

edgar, thanks again for your comments. Loved Little Bitty One by Thurston Harris. That one bought back some memories.

Hey, Brit. Welcome back.

Adele's Rolling in the Deep was great, and Christine the car tribute Bad to the Bone was awesome.

Hey, London. I know Ziggy Stardust. Like it.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a heavenly one.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

Once again, edgar, thanks for your comment.

Don't know Johnny and Joe, nor the Jayettes, but I like them both.
edgar, Harold Droman was great, too.

For this morning a tribute to a man that I have always enjoyed in the movies. It's his birthday.

And, y'all, a morning song for the Irish in all of us.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. I'm a bit groggy.

@Letty,
Didn't know anything about Haur, but did recognize his face. Smile
Bejabbers. I like the Irish tenor.
Here is something I have played before, but its just appropriate for the day.

@edgarblythe,
Our Winter Love was fantastic, edgar. Thanks again for your comments.

My favorite movie in which Rutger Hauer starred was LadyHawke. Here is the theme from that movie.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know You Beat Me to the Punch by Mary Wells, edgar, but she is good.

Remember Ernie Kovacs? Today is his birthday and this is one of his funny episodes.

Ah, edgar, I love that one by Deano. Mambo Italiano is one of my favorites.

Guess we better do this one for our Brit. Razz

As we listen to Ziggy, we can kill two birds with one stone, by walking the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail.

@edgarblythe,
Fantastic travel adventure, edgar. I read everything by RLS when I was a kid. So strange to me that a man who wrote the Child's Garden of Verses could do Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

From Treasure Island, y'all.
