Welcome back, euroGeorge. I think that you may have caused edgar and Letty to be hooked on Deep Forest. Loved both of those versions.

Ah, edgar. Loved that one by Johnny Mathis. Yellow Roses on her Gown was great.

tcb, you are always welcome in our radio station. Sad news.

Two songs, y'all. One to match Deep Forest and the other to match Margaret.

I thought this great group was Oriental at first, but satt fs. (miss you ) said they were South African.

Now, more synchronicity.

Johnny and Margaret.

Enjoyed Margaret Whiting, sad to hear she died. She sang that
song beautifully, though it's turned out to be a tad controversial.
Enjoyed Johnny Ed, here's another Johnny in a duet with June Carter.
In fact I think I'll stick with duets for the day.
JACKSON

@eurocelticyankee,
Ah, Johnny and June doing Jackson. Great one, Irish. I thought only Superman could read minds. Razz

Today is Margaret O' Brien's birthday. A tribute to that neat child star as done by "the gentle giant"

That was then; this is now.

@Letty,
Brilliant tribute to Margaret O'Brien, she was a little dote.
Lovely music to it as well. I see she had half Irish & half
Spanish ancestry. Pity she didn't go on to greater success.
But then again child stars rarely do.

@eurocelticyankee,
Right, Irish. Hollywood seems to want beauty only. Thanks again for commenting.

Here's an answer to George and Tammy's Golden Ring.

Thanks everybody for welcoming me back to your frequency.

For your early evening listening pleasure… .Here’s a rock’n country/pop offering—and it does rock-- written by Robb Royer/Roger Linn and sung by Mary Mary Chapin Carpenter who, while known for her “country” .. was born and raised in Princeton NJ
