Wow! What a fantastic mix we have on WA2K radio.

euroGeorge and edgar. Thanks for the comments on what we play here.

Joseph O'Connor brought New York to life! I was captivated.

Don't know Frankie Lyman, but I Want you to be My Girl was good.

Love Brook Benton as edgar knows. God Bless the Child is on of my fav's.

The Gatlin Brothers are new to me, but I really enjoyed those songs as well as Eddie Rabbit. Little Green Apples by Roger Miller was great!

If I missed anyone, you will understand, I'm certain.

Today is Sade's birthday. What a vocalist, y'all.

@hamburgboy,
Buddy was hot, good to see a drummer hold the sticks
right, really good drumming.
Ah Miss Letty. Sade is amazing, I seen her live once, never
forget it. I'm after listening to "smooth operator" & "no ordinary love"
as well. She's great.

Not familiar with the South Bank show, but enjoyed the theme. Any Day Now is a great one, by Ronnie. Honey breaks my heart.

I'm letting Texas speak for me, y'all. He does it far better than I. Razz

George's All My Ex's Live in Texas I do know. Thanks for the memory, edgar.

Honey by Bobby always made me cry, too.

Welcome back, Brit.

Hope you liked Sade, 'cause I sure like your theme to The South Bank Show. I think that's the name of it.

Don't know why I know that Caprice, but I do.

@Letty,
Really enjoyed "all my ex's live in Texas", a real sing along song,
if all my ex's lived in Texas, I'd stay out of Texas Smile
Enjoyed Ronnie, Smokey mountain rain, Miss Letty, you
nailed that theme with caprice.

@eurocelticyankee,
well, euroGeorge, you sent me searching again.

Billy Lance Swan (born 12 May 1942) is an American songwriter and singer, best known for his 1974 single, "I Can Help".

Liked that song, Irish. Thanks again for your comment.

Today is Jack Jones' birthday. Here is a tribute to him.
