I have seen Dylan three times in Houston and one time in Long Beach, California. The first one was best, because he was halfway into the transition from acoustic to rock. The first half he did the older folk songs. The second half was mostly the album, Highway 61 Revisited. He still had the same band, so he sounded just like the record.

Lucky man, seeing him four times, would you go again if he's
in your neck of the woods this year, silly question.
Seen him once, on my birthday in 2009. Tickets were a birthday present,
the type of present you like to get, keep your ties & socks, Bob Dylan tickets, yes please.
Bob & the band were brilliant, played all greats. Love to see him again.
I have to say he sounded OK in May 2009, not that
long ago & the band he had were excellent.
You never know ED, we live in hope.
G'nite Sir, work tomorrow, two full bathroom suites to
install, some recession we're having here, I cant keep up.

Good morning, radiofolk. Time to get ready for work. Cold day ahead, but a dry one. Here is a fine recording to start the day. Probably one best heard in the evening.

Thanks to our Irishman and Texas for keeping us on the air. Can you folks believe that it is supposed to hit 75 degrees here today? I've heard of mood swings, but never weather swings.
Really loved Frank and Walters. You Irish produce great music.
edgar, hurry back and play Polka Dots and Moonbeams tonight.
Bob Dylan in white face was funny. Still like him regardless.
Here's another voice that I didn't like at first, but have come to enjoy, y'all.
It's his birthday. This may be a night song as well.
Thanks again for your comments, edgar. I always thought that Jim Croce was of Hispanic heritage. What a surprise to find out that he is Italian /American. He later became Jewish.
Love Marty, of course, but I didn't know that he did Candy Kisses.
Today is Ray Bolger's birthday so let's hear about his brain.
The movie wasn't completely in line with Baum's book, however.

Howdy Dudey WA2K, All well I hope.
Frank singing Polka dots was nice, great photos.
Happy Birthday Rod, how old is he now 120
Have to admit I'd never heard Jim, but I like him.
Marty, good singer, didn't like his shirt though, he should
have been singing Polka Dots.
Loved Ray, I've often said to myself "If I had a Brain".
Or as my Mam used to say to me,
"If you had a brain you'd be dangerous"
Irish, you have a great sense of humor, buddy, and thanks for the comments. You and edgar always make WA2K radio a real function in our cyber world.
Don't know Cathy Davey, but I think Julie London did that originally. Hope my brain is functioning properly. If I'm wrong, don't tell me. Just let me amble on down that yellow brick road. Thanks for the memory, euroGeorge.
Today is Sal Mineo's birthday. I had no idea that he starred in Rebel Without a Cause with James Dean. Frankly, I only recall him in Uris's Exodus. Great book, and a great movie.
Julie had her only hit record with Cry Me a River. Euro's video was good too. I liked Sal Mineo, as an actor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDTevfX0UpE
He was not a great singer, but he made the effort.
edgar, I had no idea that Sal sang Down by the Riverside. He wasn't bad. Thanks, Texas.
Today is "the mad monk's" birthday. If you have read the Massey's book, Nicolas and Alexandra, you might appreciate him in that he helped the young prince to do better even with hemophilia. It may have been a type of hynosis. He was rather hard to kill and survived several assassination attempts.
Hi' Miss Letty, That was sad about that chap Sal, what a
waste. That tribute web page was a bit nasty in places.
Rasputin who just wouldn't die & the Romanov's, a shameful
episode in Russia's history, not the children.
Enjoyed Pat "Journey to the centre of the Earth" Boone.
Ed, you're on a roll with the Cartoon. My Favourite----

I like Feelin Groovy or just about anything else Paul n Art did, letty.
First time I paid any real attention to Amy. She was good on that one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3j_cXnJdVg
