Runaway and Cold Hard winter are good ones. The songs are coming faster than I will be able to listen to just now.

edgar, I know what you mean. euroGeorge was really on a roll. Loved that guy, however.

Thanks Dutchy for the subtle hint. You're a great guy eye patch and all.

My goodnight song is from Mario.

@edgarblythe,
Good early morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Love that tribute to Marty Robbins. I even recall Rio Rancho Grande in Spanish.

Last evening on Cold Case, they played this one by Elvis, but I thought that I would do a different version. Well, we both love Mario, buddy.

Too bad that all of the TV shows that I enjoy come on in the middle of the night.

Wow! I think I love this man.

I call him super Mario, letty.
I don't think I ever heard anybody other than Elvis's version of that song before.

This is not the best quality, but I can't find a better entry than this

Chuck Willis died about the time this record was released. The flip side was Hang up My Rock n Roll Shoes and the next record of his released was My Life. I guess he knew something in advance.

Well, good morning. See you all later.

@Letty,
Good evening Miss Letty, another subtle reminder, today 23/12/2010, is Izzie's Birthday. Please play her an appropriate song. Smile

Hey, edgar. Love that Chuck Wills song, buddy, and you hurry back. Yep "super Mario" is a good epithet.

Dutchy, I most certainly will do something for our Izzie. Thanks again, down under man.

Well, we have two songs for this morning. First a birthday boy.

Now, more synchronicity. This was played on Psych. Love that TV show.

Had no idea that Kurt Russell did a movie about Elvis.

I like all the Gibbs, letty.
And Such a Night is one of my favorites by Elvis. I mentioned before that it is apparently a difficult number to sing, because most artists I have heard on it botch it up. As much as I love Dinah Washington, for instance, I cannot sit through her version of Such a Night.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for the comments, edgar. I cannot believe that Kurt did such a great job with that one.

Ah, yes. Tom said it right. Our Izzie is a lady.

Another one for her, y'all.

edgar, I really liked that Simple Twist of Fate by Bob "the juster". Thanks, buddy.

Hey, euroGeorge. That was a great birthday treat by Stevie Wonder. I'm sure she will like it, Irish.

Today is Puccini's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

I know his Madam Butterfly and La Boheme best, however.

@edgarblythe,
I'm with you on the Puccini, edgar. Just didn't want to play Madam Butterfly. It makes me sad.

Thanks for the Sophie song. I Want You is nice.

Well, since I'll be leaving for Virginia early tomorrow, I think I'll do this one.
