@edgarblythe,
Thanks for commenting, edgar.

Ah, precious memories; how they linger. Great one by "the King" edgar.

Remember Venus Flytrap? Today is his birthday, and I think this is funny.

I believe I saw every episode of WKRP. letty. Never had a favorite character, because they all were funny.

Got some Sammy Davis Jr

@edgarblythe,
My word, edgar. Sammy really shot up the place. Never heard that one by him.

I watched all of WKRP as well. All of the characters were funny.

Here's one that I never watched either, but I was stunned to find out that Ian Flemming wrote the book and Roald Dahl did the screen play. It matches your Bang Bang on a different level.

Dick Van Dyke is still with us, y'all.

Much as I like Dick Van Dyke, I could not work up enthusism to see that movie. The song is nice, though.

I did like this movie very much, however

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mary Poppins. Love that one by Dick, edgar. I think Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a kid's movie.

Time for me to say goodnight, and here's a different version of Serenade by the Platters.

From Letty with love to everyone.

Never heard that one by the Platters. Their lead vocalist is hard to match. Well, my good night song is by Johnny Ace

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, Texas, and thanks for keeping us on the air. Once again we appreciate your comment.

Wow! That was a fabulous song by Willie. I never heard that one. Wonder who the female vocalist is singing with him? I Never Cared for You is winsome, but lovely.

You reminded me of this one. Don't know this lady, but she is a great jazz vocalist. First a bit of info.

Jane Monheit (born November 3, 1977) is a jazz and adult contemporary vocalist for the label Emarcy. She has collaborated with artists such as Michael Bublé, Ivan Lins, Terence Blanchard and Tom Harrell, and has received Grammy nominations for two of her recordings.

@edgarblythe,
Fantastic, edgar. Love that Johnny song. Never heard it and since I don't know much about "put together" cars, it was a classic for sure.

That song, I Should Care is an old jazz ballad, incidentally.

@edgarblythe,
Great one by Willie, edgar. Pretty Paper and Little Town of Bethlehem is wonderful.

Wow! just noticed that Bob Dylan did Little Drummer Boy. Shocked

I watched Jim Bowie and Bing Crosby do that one, but here's a rather funny version. Love it.

Johnny Cash did the worst version of Drummer Boy I have listened to, but I think that is just because I have not heard Dylan do it.
