@edgarblythe,
My word, edgar. Is that the same Johnny Horton that did North to Alaska? Razz

All For the Love of a Girl was fantastic. Thanks for your comments again, Texas.

You'll recognize this one by Katherine, and I just discovered that she is from Wales.

@Letty,
Simply beautiful, Don't the Welsh punch well above their weight, so much talent from such a small place.
This is Catatonia, lead singer Cerys Matthews, great voice, love the accent.
They've split up now but Cerys sings on.

@eurocelticyankee,
That is good, Irish. Don't know Cerys Matthews, but Road Rage was excellent as were the unusual visuals. Yikes! What a strange name for a group.

Well, more synchronicity. Wasn't it you who talked about Glen Miller's plane not having been discovered?

Look at this.

The remains of Amelia Earhart, the legendary aviator portrayed on the big screen by actress Hilary Swank, have reportedly been found.

Three bones were found on a remote island in the South Pacific by a group from Delaware that recovers historic aircraft. Researchers at the University of Oklahoma are hoping that DNA will prove the remains belong to Earhart.

I remember this movie.

@Letty,
I like I Will Always LOve You more as time goes on. Road Rage is pretty good too. Well, the tale of Amelia is pretty well set, even if the bones are not hers. It would be a bit of closure if they are.
Here now is Roy Hamilton

@Letty,
I seen a documentary on that, she disappeared just before the war when the Japs were building up their forces on the pacific islands. Their saying the Japs shot her down or forced her to land and took her prisoner and eventually executed her.
The theory holds that Amelia guided the Electra north on a clandestine spy mission for the American government to photograph and study the highly secretive Japanese fortifications at Truk, in the Caroline Islands. Shot down or out of fuel, the doomed pilots crash-landed in the Japanese held Marshall Islands and were either executed or jailed. Hundreds of eyewitness reports abound of two Americans pilots, on a woman, coming down in the Marshalls around 1937. To date, the Japanese government has denied these allegations.

edgar, I loved that one by Roy Hamilton. It was from Carousal. Thanks, buddy.

Hey, Irish. I, too, read that about Amelia, but I don't think it's true. Let's hope that the DNA will eventually lead us to the truth.

It's Ossie Davis' birthday. Here is an unusual version of Born in the USA.

@eurocelticyankee,
Like both Andy Williams songs, Irish. Thanks for YOUR comments.

We all love Moon River.
Here's another version of the one that Andy sang.

The Lettermen were inspired by The Four Freshmen, incidentally.

That's a really nice version of that song Letty, Really nice. You just have to shake your shoulders to that song, young & old, It's timeless.

I'll say goodnight to you all on WA2K. I'll be working flat out again tomorrow, this weather is great for business but a nightmare on the home front, It's hard to see people stuck, so you gotta get up & do it. I'll put money I'll be called out on Christmas day. No rest for the wicked.
I'll leave you with a last two from Andy.

@Izzie,
Goodnight, Irish. Thanks for both of your Andy Williams songs.

Oh, my God, Izzie. I am just so glad that you are all right. That was a beautiful Celtic song and your photos remind me of this one.

Then winter tiptoed in with icy crown,
And sent the snow a whirling everywhere.

She covered all the trees with softest down,
And left icicles where she combed her hair.

I wrote that as a very young Letty.

When you can, I would like to send you a photo of my son when he got married.

@Letty,
I had a great fondness for Ossie Davis, but not so much as an actor, but as a man. He and his wife, Ruby Dee, were active humanitarians and civil rights advocates.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, Texas. You always acknowledge the songs that we play here.

Love that Donovan song. There is a Mountain was great. Never heard it, however.

Time for me to say goodnight and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, Andy.

Now Nat. Love this version of the song that we played earlier.
