@edgarblythe,
Great one by Don Williams. Don't know yellow moon, but it suits the occasion quite well.

Debussy Reverie that was played behind Monet's art was also a pop song, texas.

Here's Miss Keely to do it for us.

I like Keely and My Reverie, letty.
I served in the Navy. I tied a bosun's knot to the mizzen mast and keel hauled the anchor - with a little help from the crew.

Good morning everybody. A dreary day awaits, with cold and rain. But, we're tough enough to take it. See you all later.

@Barry The Mod,
Love that, Brit. Yep, You Can't Stop the Beat. Wasn't there a musical called Hair Cut?

One to match your hair, buddy.

@edgarblythe,
That was funny, edgar. Guess disco is long gone, but perhaps if we "grease her knees one more time, maybe she'll go."

Thanks again for your comments on what we play here, buddy.

Two songs for the afternoon, y'all.

First, for our Brit who got his hair cut, a beautiful aria. I know, he's not Italian. Razz

I like both of those songs, letty. I don't like some of Petula's songs, because her voice is so "brassy" I guess I want to say. This is her best one, to me.

@edgarblythe,
You're right about Petula, edgar. Some of her stuff is good, some not so good.

Strange, Texas. That didn't sound a think like her. Surprised

Today is Frida Lyngstad's birthday. She married a guy from the group ABBA but here she is waiting for the phone to ring.

@Letty,
Happy birthday Frida. Good song.

This appears to be from Buddy Holly's appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. I remember seeing it. I was a big Holly fan already.

@edgarblythe,
The Day the Music Died, edgar. I never knew Buddy until Don McLean.

ABBA is a good group and thanks again for the acknowledgment

Really enjoyed Oh Boy, Texas.

Here's one by Sir Paul that I've never heard before.
