@edgarblythe,
Lord have mercy, edgar. Love that Topsy by Cozy Cole. I know that we visited here when in New York, but I can't remember one moment of it.

I didn't recall Dianna Rigg singing a note. A mild surprise.
Well, here is a song I used to hear on the radio as a kid -

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I know Why Don't You Haul Off and Love me One More Time, just not by that guy.

Mother Nature's Son is a new one to me, Texas. Thanks for the introduction to that Fab Four Song.

Just gave myself a black eye. What next, Letty. Smile

How about a nice classical piece for the darkening evening.

Somewhere in Time. Love this!

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, Brit. I love Mr. Bojangles by Robbie Williams. I think most of us know that it refers to Bill Robinson. Thanks, buddy.

Well, it's time for me to say goodnight, and I can't think of a guy that I would rather dance with than this Boss.

From Letty with love and a black eye. Smile

Oops, edgar just snuck in with his marvelous comments on what we play here.

Thanks Texas

Liberace Museum shutting Down
The museum was once one of the most-visited attractions in Las Vegas. But after Sunday, the black mink cape lined with 40,000 Swarovski crystals, the Rolls Royce covered in little mirrors and the mirror-encrusted Baldwin grand will go into storage.

Dark good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Thanks for the info on Liberace. Guess his candelabra bit the dust as well.

That Girl is a Cowboy by Garth Brooks was fantastic. Thanks, Texas.

Hey, Brit. It Don't Mean a Thing if You Ain't Got that Swing is great. Remember it by the Duke.

Brenda Boykin's Hard Swing Travelin Man was awesome as well, buddy.

How about a little early morning jazz from London.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZY_byFYO8Fo&feature=related

and, y'all, the lyrics.

Softly as in a morning sunrise
The light of love comes stealing
Into a newborn day

Flaming with all the glow of sunrise
A burning kiss is sealing
A vow that all betray

For the passions that thrill love
And take you high to heaven
Are the passions that kill love
And let it fall to hell
So ends the story

Softly as in a morning sunrise
The light that gave you glory
Will take it all away

@Francis,
Good afternoon, Francis. So many people have done that tribute to Don McLean. Thanks for The Fugees' version, and thanks for the comment on the jazz version of Softly as in the Morning Sunrise.

Joan Baez's Manha De Carnaval was great, and it matches A Day in the Life of a Fool.

Today is Tim Robbins' birthday, so here is a tribute to him, y'all.

And, a bit of info on the guy.
