I think racing with the moon is my favorite song by Vaughn. The other song and the tribute are very nice too.

Good morning, WA2K folks. It's still dark here.

edgar, I'm surprised there hasn't been a Hank Williams sighting. Smile Love Why Don't You Love Me Like You Used to Do, buddy. Thanks again for your comments, Texas.

Hey, mooseman. Sad circumstances concerning David Carradine. I guess "the grasshopper" will always remain a mystery.

Hey, Brit. Love the Viva Elvis and Goodnight Lenin songs.Thanks, buddy.

Just as someone predicted, there have been Michael Jackson sightings. October is the month for it.

Unfortunately The Blue Danube is turning red.

Am I the only one to think that this guy's voice resembles Janis Joplin's?

@Francis,
Well, well. Another October surprise. Welcome back, Francis. Don't know Asaf Avidan and The Mojos, but let's compare. I think you're right. Smile

@Letty,
Loved Hank as a boy and love him still. His abuse of drugs and the like likely stems from childhood illness that kept him in pain as an adult. That's more excuse than some of his descendants probably have.

Williams died at age 29; his death is widely believed to have resulted from a mixture of alcohol and drugs. His son Hank Williams, Jr., daughter Jett Williams, and grandchildren Hank Williams III, Holly Williams, and Hilary Williams are also professional singers. - Wikipedia

Hank's big hit of Lovesick Blues was not written by him.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again, edgar for your comments. It keeps our cyber radio viable.

"...I met a girl who sang the blues, and I asked her for some happy news, but she just turned and walked away..."

Remember that line, Texas?

I know about Hank's death, but I didn't know he didn't write Love Sick Blues.

A Piece of my Heart is great by Janis, edgar. Thanks again.

More synchronicity. Today is John Lennon's birthday. Sir Paul does a tribute to him, y'all.

@Letty,
I did not realize how many performers descended from Hank.
Well, not to be snippy, but John's birthday is Saturday, letty. Smile
I enjoyed Paul's tribute.
