I know Dickie Lee's songs. Always liked him a little. Mario is to me one of the greats.

Good morning, WA2K Folks.

edgar, Loved your goodnight song by Elvis. Santa Lucia is fantastic. Thanks again for the comments, Texas.

Rex, You are welcome. Love that man.

Hey, Brit. Gerry and the Pacemakers song, Don't Let the Sun Catch you crying was marvelous. Well, the sun isn't up here yet, but I have a birthday boy to greet all of you.

This song is an oxymoron. Smile

Good morning. I used to not be interested in John Mellancamp, but he did a few songs I like and I began to view him favorably. Pretty good song.
See everybody later on. Yaba dabba do.

Great one by the cougar man, Rockymoose. Thanks, buddy. Hurry back Yabba. Smile

Today is Yo Yo Ma's birthday, so here he is in a duet with a cool trumpet man and doing his favorite things.

My sources tell me that 74 year old Burt Reynolds and 65 year old Loni Anderson will star in a TV series together.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Texas. Liked that one by Buffy. Often, however, her voice has a wee bit too much vibrato.

Burt and Lonnie? Wow! Now that's an odd one. Here's one by Toni Braxton who has a bit of trouble herself. Unbreak my Heart. Given that she's taken bankruptcy for the second time, she must be broke.

Nevertheless, happy birthday, Toni

@Letty,
The Burt/Loni story is remarkable considering the bitter divorce they went through.

I like to think of Buffy's voice as having character.

Don't know much about Toni Braxton, but she has a good voice, I think.

@edgarblythe,
Great one by Judy Collins, edgar. Bob Dylan's Dream reminds me of this one by Donovan. Didn't he do this one first? You're right about Burt and Loni. Nothing new under the sun except that. Smile

@edgarblythe,
I Wish It Would Rain Down is a great one by Phil, edgar. Strange, I was thinking of Phil Collins. Hmmm, Texas, maybe there is something in the air tonight.

Ah, edgar. I love Moonlight Lady by Julio. Thanks, buddy. Yep, Phil Collins was first introduced to me in Against All Odds.

Remember this one, Texas?

@edgarblythe,
Wow! I love the Vogues, edgar. Turn Around Look at Me was fabulous. I have never heard them before. Thanks for the introduction.

As a matter of record, they rather remind me of The Lettermen. Here's one by that great group.
