Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, had no idea that Dolly sang Blowin' in the Wind. Great goodnight song, buddy.

Hey, Mooseman. It's All in the Game by Isaac is wonderful. Thanks, Kansas

Rex, Thanks again for the Steve Martin banjo songs; Tom Jones' It's Not Unusual is a good one as well. My word, Maine. Had almost forgotten those Lucy and Ricky episodes.

Still hoping that Vance Adair (great jazz artist) and the special "sad young men" can be identified.

Two songs for the morning. Today is Kenny Roger's and Count Basie's birthday so let's listen to both of them.

First the Count. Hey, buddy, I've met Clark Terry as well. Didn't care for him, but he plays pretty well.

Now Kenny, y'all.

Happy Birthday, Kenny. I like his work with First Edition, plus the cowboy story songs he did. I guess my favorite by him is Ruby.
Here's the BeeGees.

@edgarblythe,
Great, edgar. Never heard "And the Children Laughing" by the Bee Gees. Love it.

Well, here's Kenny and Ruby. This one always made me a bit sad.

Besides Kenny's Ruby, I also like Walter Brennan doing the same song.
Well, here bees more Dolly. Thing about her, I did not like her records at one time, but love them now.

@edgarblythe,
Walter Brennan did Ruby? That's a surprise, edgar.

I'm the same way about Dolly Parton. When I sound out that she wrote all of the songs on the show Nine to Five, I had to give her credit for her talent.

Don't know Carrol County Accident, however. Thanks for the introduction, Texas.

Here's one by Hank, Jr.

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, Brit. I know what you mean. That one by The Tourists reminds me of a different version of John Denver's song. Welcome back to our cyber radio as well.

That's one of Hank Jr's better songs, letty. I only like a handful by him.

Well, I will be back on line a few times today. I was planning to buy a new tower this weekend, but will instead get it Friday afternoon. Right now I am putting a new floor in the kitchen.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comments, Texas. My, my. You are a jack of all trades. Smile

Loved the sinner's song by Eric Clapton and here's an oldie to match.

That's one of Nina's better ones, Brit.

@Letty,
I usually can't stand that song but this version is about the best one I have ever heard of. All other versions pale in the big band sound of this one!

The other versions I'm familiar are a tad too cheesy and saccharine.

Good ears Letty! Cool
