@edgarblythe,
Never heard that one by Bobby, edgar. I recall Jackie Wilson doing it, however. That kid was so talented.

Well, folks, today is Mick Jagger's birthday. Interesting tribute to him.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Tell me about the good old days. Love that one by the Judds, edgar.

I'm afraid my daddy told me too much about the good old days. Smile

Here's one by Rod Stewart.

I like Cyndi Lauper and Rod Stewart. - I just heard a huge clap of thunder overhead. Shutting down for now. We had a bad rain storm earlier.

@sometime sun,
sometime sun, Welcome back. Couldn't get True Colors to play, buddy, but I love the other two by Cydi Lauper. Both Grab a Hold and Rain were new to me, but excellent.

Thanks, sunman. Smile

@Izzie,
Izzie, Loved I Don't Want to Talk About by Rod and Amy. She was great and just found out she is from Glasgow Scottland. That gal playing sax was hot as well.

Here's one by Phil that will substitute for sometime sun's missing True Colors, folks.

@edgarblythe,
Great blues, edgar. (glad the storm water didn't sweep you away)Love Paul Butterfield's Mary Mary. Thanks, buddy.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a smooth jazz song replete with lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOzVTD7Y_sw&feature=fvw

She may be weary, women do get weary
Wearing the same shabby dress
And when she's weary
Try a little tenderness

Oh, she may be waiting just anticipating
Things she may never possess
And while she's without them
Try a little tenderness

It's not just sentimental
She has her grief and her care
But a word so soft and gentle
Makes it easier to bear

You won't regret it, women don't forget it
Love is their whole happiness
And it's all so easy
Try a little tenderness

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love

Good morning, (here at least) WA2K folks.

edgar, loved your goodnight song by John. Thanks, Texas.

Ah, Izzie, that song by James Blunt, Carry You Home, was so sad. Loved it anyway, gal.

Hey, Brit. Wow! Loved Calexico's Alone Again, and Bright Eyes' First Day of My Life was lovely. Ah, Jerry Reed. Great blues, buddy.

A couple of songs for you Brits and Britesse.

Understand that your PM is going to Turkey, so here's one by Beethoven for him. Smile

Then, a "shimmy" song.

First, The Turkish March.

Now Kate and her shimmy.
