Such zoos should be closed, permanently.
Talk to the animals is a cute song.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one, edgar...Hey, hey, goodbye. They did become a mite redundant at the end, however.

Here's Diana singing my telling song. Miss BoGoWo. He introduced me to that fabulous vocalist.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hK_PYQVNmmU&feature=related

Samka the rhino looks sad. When her longtime companion, Boy the elephant, died in April, she watched over his body for an entire day until it was taken away. Today, the elephant's pen sits empty. Boy is just one of several animals at Kiev Zoo - including a camel, a bison and a zebra - that have died in recent months, some in mysterious circumstances. As the city carries out an official investigation, the deaths have prompted outrage and denial, with activists accusing the zoo of negligence and corruption and authorities pointing to an anonymous killer as the culprit.

Don't believe it has to do with the zoo, edgar, they have given shelter to animals for a long time.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I don't know that sad and bleeding girl, nor do I know the song. Yes, sometimes love hurts, but a heart can heal. Awesome lyrics and the minor key reflected that woman who did a great job with her voice.

Wow! I keep forgetting what a great voice Eddie Fisher had. In spite of the fact that he broke some hearts himself, his wasn't left unscathed, Texas.

Here's Eddie with a major melody, y'all.

I invited smokin'gunne to visit our studio again. Hope he does. We need some Irishman from the North.

@edgarblythe,
Oh, edgar, that Guardian Angel by Fernado Lima is so beautiful. Thank you for that still small voice of calm.

Time for me to say goodnight, and it has been a great day(from morning til night) having a canajun and a Brit with us.

My goodnight song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkdp0EjCmO0

Replete with lyrics in English

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night;
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night.

Angels watching, e'er around thee,
All through the night
Midnight slumber close surround thee,
All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night

While the moon her watch is keeping,
All through the night
While the weary world is sleeping,
All through the night
O'er thy spirit gently stealing,
Visions of delight revealing
Breathes a pure and holy feeling,
All through the night.

Goodnight, all.

From Letty with love

Louis Prima gets posthumous Hollywood star.
http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af138/barrythemod/To%20Forward/US-People-Louis-Prima.jpg
'King of Swing' Louis Prima has received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a centennial celebration that included dancing in the street to his big-band sounds.

The influential band leader was honored at a Sunday ceremony on Vine Street attended by his son Louis Prima Jr., who continues the legacy of his father's music, his daughter Lena Prima, celebrities, dignitaries and fans.

"Louis Prima was a great entertainer and presented a great show. But more than anything else, he brought happiness to his audiences," said Bill Cosby in a congratulatory message read at the midday ceremony, which also included a concert of Prima's music by Louis Prima Jr.'s big band, The Witnesses, as well as swing-dancing fans.

Prima, who died in 1978, would have been 100 years old this year.

Good morning WA2K folks.

Is it unusual for there to be a full moon so many nights in a row?

edgar, loved that Soldier Boy song. I had forgotten it. Thanks, Texas.

Hey Brit! My word, I had no idea that Louis Prima had done that Disney Jungle Book. Love it.

Here's a tribute to the man, y'all.

The last Jungle Book that I saw was this one. Mowgli faced Sher Kahn(sp) the tiger and growled him down instead of killing him. Here's the trailer.

Good morning, radio peeples.
Louis Prima is so important to me, I own a collection of his best known work. Two disk set, containing lots and lots of material.

The Jungle Book is also one of my favorite stories, from childhood.

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, Brit. I used to call G.W. The Wizard of Light until I discovered what he did to Nicola Tessla. I lost all respect for Thomas Edison.

I like the Mickey Rooney film of Tom Edison. He is very near Andy Hardy's age in it.

@edgarblythe,
hey, edgar. That Johnny Burnette song was great. Don't know him, but just found out that he died at thirty after drowning. What a shame, Texas.

Never saw Mickey as Thomas Edison, however.

More synchronicity, y'all. Johnny sang Dream Lover and so did Bobby Darin. Today is Kevin's Spacey's birthday, and as most of us know, he did the life of Bobby.

Here is a tribute to the man.
