just finished watching Kingdom Hospital, a strange tv series originally from Denmark, but adapted for US television by Stephen King
the story follows events at a hospital that was built on the ruins of a civil war era mill that was burned for profit, killing hundreds of people, mostly children, a young girl who witnessed the setting of the fire, is killed by the mill owners brother a deranged doctor, her spirit haunts the hospital seeking peace for herself and her friends killed in the fire
this song was used as the opening theme

Those Damn Yankees, edgar. Love that one by Sarah.
dj, I think after hearing the background to that King series, I've got one that I'm gonna play. Incidentally, Canada. Ivy did a great job on that song. Never heard about nor watched the TV show, but Worry About You was haunting.
Izzie, that Wide Open Spaces was perfect, Miss Oracle. We'll dedicate that to Real John Boy (I refer to him as John of Virginia) 'cause today is his birthday
From The Dixie chicks to you, buddy

ah, RJB is shy. He missed a good party. Guess I had better turn in myself, y'all and I think that I shall do so with Nat.
The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is to me a masterpiece.

Morning (in English ) Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K junkies.Late log in,been doing some research, along with djjd for Dorothy Parker.Stumbled across.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fKlx4inZGc
John Lucien - Rashida.
edgar, you played the right song by Manfred, cause Letty was blinded by the light of the setting moon over the intracostal waterway. I misread RJB's birthday as yesterday, and it is not until Memorial Day.
Hey, Brit. Loved Jon's "Rashida". So today you are using a different language. I just found out that sanskrit is the oldest in the world and its origin is in India.
Ah, always great to hear "the chairman of the board", and L.A. is my Lady is fantastic. Thanks, buddy.
Today is Bob Hope's birthday, so let's do a tribute to him, y'all.
Good morning radio folk. Got one more day before the holiday weekend begins.

Brit, I am soooooo glad that you forgot about Atlantis 'cause you didn't notice my mistake. Adore Quincey Jones and although I don't know Walk in Space, he's is one great jazzman.
Would like to have done this birthday boy's Cajun song, especially Evangeline, but decided on another.
Incidentally, let's not forget the meaning of Cajun:
A member of a group of people in southern Louisiana descended from French colonists exiled from Acadia in the 18th century.
edgar, that was the funniest song and visuals that I have ever heard. I'm still smiling. We'll dedicate that to Ticomaya.
Here's an oldie to match your history observation, Texas. The first all color talking picture, and we'll let the crooner do it since we had Bob Hope earlier.
