Heard an old song on the radio at work that made me smile big for just one line....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiBI3A2WcrE
The Divine Comedy - National Express (the Brit version of Greyhound)

Take the National Express when your life's in a mess
It'll make you smile
All human life is here
From the feeble old dear to the screaming child
From the student who knows that to have one of those
Would be suicide
To the family man
Manhandling the pram with paternal pride
And everybody sings "ba ba ba da..."
We're going where the air is free
On the National Express there's a jolly hostess
Selling crisps and tea
She'll provide you with drinks and theatrical winks
For a sky-high fee
Mini-Skirts were in style when she danced down the aisle
Back in '63 (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
(here it is Very Happy "But it's hard to get by when your arse is the size
Of a small country"
And everybody sings "ba ba ba da..."
We're going where the air is free
Tomorrow belongs to me
When you're sad and feeling blue
With nothing better to do
Don't just sit there feeling stressed
Take a trip on the National Express

Climbing the apples.
Arigato WA2K.

dj, Thanks for accepting my invitation. At least we now have Canada here with us. R.E.M.'s goodnight song was great and gave us all a smile. Close the Door? Uhoh. Did the wind blow mine ajar again?

edgar, ah, Selene/Selena goddess of the moon. Dreaming of you matches dj's R.E.M. song. Loved it.

Hey, Brit. No way! Willie cut his hair? sheeeeze! Loved his Harder They Come, and The Divine Comedy's answer to Greyhound was delightful. Hmmm, since when does a cockney Brit speak Japanese?

I helped Big Mamma when she had kittens. Every one of them was yellow, almost like your Fredster.

The setting moon over the intercostal waterway was like a magnet. It drew me to my window and I gazed upon it until it was gone, y'all.

Sunrise? not yet, but here is a prelude to it.

@edgarblythe,
Never hear Exile, edgar. I enjoyed listening. Hmmm, it seems that they called themselves "Exile" because of the Cuban exiles at the time. Ah, I never think of that without thinking of eiremil (think that was his name)

Today is Christopher Lee's birthday, and I really think he was a fine actor, but I had no idea that he could sing. He's good, too.

@edgarblythe,
Johnny Mathis has truly grown on me, edgar. He was excellent doing the other half of the duet. I like the touch of strings as well. Thanks, Texas.

Well, today is Ramsey Lewis' birthday, so here is another duet.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! It's gettin' hot in here. edgar, Calamity and Wild Bill. Great one, and Louis and Keely do their own "magic" with that song. Thanks, buddy.

Our Izzie IS a camera, folks. I watched her lovely flowers, boys, and a cat with yellow eyes and that was a magic all it's own, especially with that crystal which is the Oracle.

Another "divine Sarah's" birthday is today so let's find out about what the summer knows.
