@edgarblythe,
Never heard that one by Andy, edgar. Oh, how I love bamboo. Did you know that the giant panda feeds on bamboo shoots? This is a funny kung fu panda

Time for me to say goodnight, and after watching many of the old movies on AMC, I realized that no one is making much in Hollywood these days.

A tribute to cinema of the past.

Wonder how many of us recognize those oldies.

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love

I missed so many of the old movies that I spend lots of time making up for it. I watched Clark Gable in It Happened One Night a few weeks ago.

Good morning WA2K radio folks.

My word, I missed edgar's red panda video. What an adorable little creature.

Mornin's Brit. Great song by that Irishman. Thanks for the introduction.

@edgarblythe,
Wonderful to have classical music from London.

Yep, edgar, I can dig it. Love Herbie and his flute.

This one by Sam was inspired by the shrewd observation that Americans don't know much about stuff. I do believe it was written and performed with me in mind.

I notice that he doesn't include grammar; composition; poetry and cognitive insight, however.

We each have our expertise, letty. Even the best educated among us only know what they are concerned with knowing. I get a kick out of the TV show, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? Some pretty well educated contestants have had to admit they are not.

@edgarblythe,
I understand about the expertise, edgar. When I was in grade school, everything was learned by rote. Not one teacher explained the reasoning behind it. Finally, it dawned upon me, (cognitive insight) what learning was all about.

Love that song Pearls Before Swine by Sail Away. One tiny grain of sand can produce a pearl in an oyster.

Today is Chow You-Fat's birthday, so here is a tribute to the man. Sorry for the rather abrupt ending. He is best remembered for the film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

We were on a China kick earlier. Hope this isn't a repeat.
