@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Bo Diddly, edgar. The way he pronounces "man" is funny as he intends it to be. It inspired me to locate this one.

I used to sing this one as a kid and thought that the line "...I'm off to my love with a boxing glove.." meant the singer was going to Australia. (you know; boxing kangaroos)

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, Judy did know how to sing, right? Love Meet Me in St. Louis, but don't think I'll do St. Louis Blues.

How about a lovely evening, folks.

@edgarblythe,
What fantastic harmony, edgar. Thanks, buddy. Don't know that group, but I really enjoyed that "ache"

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a cat.

Good early morning, folks. My dreams are NOT getting better, I'm afraid.

edgar, Perez Prado brings back some pleasant memories. Patricia was lovely.

Hey, Brit. Who will buy my lovely red roses was fabulous. Love those street songs from Oliver. I listened twice. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we still had that feature in our world?

Lara playing Chopin was unbelievable. Thanks, London.

Today is Enya's birthday. Here is a wonderful song by her.

Like enya's song. Barry's offerings, too.
Bobby Darin wrote and recorded this song under the name, The Rinkydinks. It was made into a hit by Buddy Holly.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Bobby. Had no idea Early in the Morning was composed by him, Texas.

The thunderstorms are gone and Thor quit throwing his forked lightning, so I'm back on the air.

How about some Mills Brothers for the late afternoon.

We did Lime House Blues, so that one seem appropriate.

Ah, I remember when I was a kid I had a china doll. Great one by The Ames Brothers, edgar.

How about a jungle tribute, y'all.

Today is Maureen O'Sullivan's birthday, and although I only remember her as Jane, this is a wonderful memory.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! Wonder if Cheeta ever got married, Texas? If so, I'll bet they played this one at his wedding.

@edgarblythe,
Ray Stevens was one funny man, edgar. Loved that one by Ray. Also loved Jane's response; Baby oh Baby. Thanks for the late afternoon smile.

How about some drunk monkeys?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYuIYNaKynI

When my Dave was little, Bud use to prop him up on the bass and sing I Went to the Animal Fair. Can't find that one anywhere.

last line.

The monkey he got drunk,
And sat on the elephant's trunk,
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees,
What became of the monk?
