Good morning, WA2K folks

Hey, Brit. I saw that movie. Kevin Spacey did his own singing and playing of the piano. I think he can speak four different languages as well.

Rocky, Feat don't fail me now? Love that Spanish Moon by Little feat.

Two songs for the early morning.

First, a birthday boy, Lightnin' Hopkins, MoJo Hand.

Now to go with McTag's fishing picture

Izzie and McTag know that I am of Scottish blood as attested by Ragland Castle.

@Rockhead,
Where is that Brit. I know he'll love Green Onions. (I really do.)

Today is Sly Stone's birthday, so here is one by Sly and the family.

Julius Caesar: well, soothsayer, the ides of march have come.

Soothsayer: Yeah, but that ain't gone.

Marc Antony: So are they all; all honorable men.

The evil that men do lives after them; the good is off interred within their bones.

Cassius: The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in the stars but in ourselves.

@edgarblythe,
Ringo sounds great. Never heard him sing solo. Thanks, Texas, for the No No song.

Let's hope he doesn't follow the whistler, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! I didn't know that Buffy was Canadian. Well, that song was beautiful, Texas. She has done so much for native Americans.

I have always thought "hands" are the most important part of the human character because their gentle touch does so much for calming and healing.

Another hand song by Matt, folks.

Never heard Matt do a song that was wrong, letty. Well, here is Johnny Mathis with the theme from a movie.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, that Best of Everything by Johnny was awesome. Listened twice. The visuals were wonderful, Texas.

Here's a tribute to the man.

@edgarblythe,
Dear Fats. I understand about Blue Mondays, edgar.

Time for me to say goodnight and I think that I shall do so with a tribute to Harry James whose birthday is today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkVIb6V0UKw&feature=related

and the lyrics to Sleep Lagoon.

A sleepy lagoon, a tropical moon and two on an island
A sleepy lagoon and two hearts in tune in some lullabyland

The fireflies' gleam reflects in the stream
They sparkle and shimmer
A star from on high falls out of the sky
And slowly grows dimmer

The leaves from the trees all dance in the breeze
And float on the ripples
We're deep in a spell as nightingales tell
Of roses and dew
The memory of this moment of love
Will haunt me forever
A tropical moon, a sleepy lagoon and you.

Don't work too hard, edgar.

To everyone,

From Letty with love
