AND ABOUT TIME TOO.........
Prince fined £1.5million.....

Here's the back story.Dorothy Parker and I planned to see this concert (individually of course),but we PM'd each others plans.Concert tickets were booked,flights were booked,hotels were booked.A few weeks later,he pulled out.Ticket price was refunded so not all lost.I had a great time in Dublin (the hotel next to mine was named Barrys Hotel so that's where I'm gonna stay when I go back) and by all accounts so did DP and her Moma.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, I remember Tonight You Belong to Me. Thanks for the memory, Texas.

Hey, Brit. There are sooooo many definitions for "spoon". Love it.

The Shawshank Redemption was one of Stephen King's better adaptations. Love the theme Brooks Was Here, and the idea of some woman escaping prison by digging out with one is unbelievable.

Well, well. Never heard Little Red Corvette. Thanks for the introduction. Prince is good. The only one that I've heard by him is Purple Rain/Reign.

Glad the Endeavor made it safely home. Missed it again.

I just had a butchers/hook/look at The London Mods.

And the Kinks Followers of Fashion was great.

Ah, our Dorothy Parker reminds me of this funny poem by the original.

Dorothy Parker:
"One Perfect Rose"
A single flow'r he sent me, since we met.
All tenderly his messenger he chose;
Deep-hearted, pure, with scented dew still wet--
One perfect rose.

I knew the language of the floweret;
"My fragile leaves," it said, "his heart enclose."
Love long has taken for his amulet
One perfect rose.

Why is it no one ever sent me yet
One perfect limousine, do you suppose?
Ah no, it's always just my luck to get
One perfect rose.

Love Flying Home, especially by Hamp. Thanks modman.

Our art tribute for today, y'all

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, you may have played that Buffy song before, but I never heard it. It was fantastic. "...poppies spilling from my heart...." The song was almost like a chant.

How about some Josh for February.

Ah, Julie Andrews. Yep May is great in Camelot, edgar. Then there are times when the month of May is not so good. Joan Baez tells us why, y'all

@edgarblythe,
Hey, edgar. Dinah, is there anyone finer. Loved September in the rain.

Nancy and Lee know how to sing about Summer Wine.

Could play Kisses Sweeter then Wine, but I think that I shall say goodnight with a nocturne by Chopin and paintings as visuals.

This song appeared in the movie about Ira Hayes. This is not the same version, but it was played on the radio quite a lot.
