Great music on our cyber radio this evening.

edgar, Love anything by Leonard Cohen (glad your pc is back in order)

Also liked Freddy Hart. Don't get lost, Texas, cause I loved your pun about Harry. Long ago I danced the hora to that one.

JPB, I agree with soccer George (welcome back, incidentally) Mark Knopfler is fabulous.

Hey, Rockymoose. Ah, it's been a while since I heard Cab. Loved his version of Minnie the Moocher. Danny Kaye did that one too.

Tai Chi. That one by Meaghan was wonderful. Loved the visuals as well.

dj, all of your Beautiful South songs are great. Glad to see our Canadian friends back with us. Especially enjoyed Iris Dement.

Hey, honu (yitwail). Can always count on you for some great jazz. All the Things you Are by Dizzy is one that I particularly enjoy. Say hello to J.M. for us.

Gonna say goodnight a little early 'cause it's been one of those days.

Two goodnight songs. One by the multilingual Danny Kaye and the other by a great group that I have never hear before.

First, Danny.

Hey, Mr. Kaye. I recognized "window"

Now a fantastic one by Rockapella.

Hope panz will join us again.

Goodnight, world.

From Letty who hopes that she didn't miss anyone's contributions and always with love.

besides jazz, i still like reggae, so here's Steel Pulse from the UK--UB40 isn't the only UK reggae band, ya know--with a special guest. no video and kinda long, but the solo has fun quotes from a big hit by the guest as well as from one of the Beatles' first hits.

I have been going through the day's music. I checked out many videos, including Hank Snow, Bunnymen, Dvorak, Beethoven,Edmundo Ross, Minnie the Moocher and Rockapella. A few others besides. Saved a few to listen to at my leisure, later on.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, he's not only a great talent but a *wonderful* human being--there doesn't seem to be a musical charity he doesn't participate in, Hope for Haiti being the latest.
